I don't even know why Blizzard even allowed enemies to fly off the edge of the map. Its only purpose seems to be to troll melee classes.

Hmm, after reading the last few pages of this thread, I'm amused how many people are making decent progress through A2 into A3, given how 2 weeks ago people were bitching about how A2 is a brick wall and fundamentally broken for melee classes.

If you cannot afford stormshield I suggest you search for the best white lvl 60 shield(one with 3700-4700 block base), just search for shields with +block and they should be at the top as they have the best armor value. Even if they are completely empty apart from +block it's amazing because the 25% chance to block 4-5k damage is far more important than what, 5k hp you get from 150 vit. Obviously they are still going to have some stats at bargain prices, especially the blues, so search around.

From my own analysis, i need a few things in terms of importance(please correct me if im wrong)
1) More resist(hit 900 ftw)
2) %dmg resist( SOE/Stormshield/Perhaps a ring/amulet)
3) More DPS. 10k is kinda low
4) More block chance.(<25%)
5) More life on hit (1k!)
6) More armor(should come along when i pump my resist)
7) More Vit
8) Movement speed on boots. FK i always cant catch the goblins.

I cant even complete act2 1st quest haha. Yeah i definitely need more gear. Need more gold tho to pump up my stats. Right now im just doing Warden-Butcher runs, average 40k per run.

Plan is to get a SOE(tho im not sure i want to right now. Apparently legendaries will be buffed in next patch, with 2 versions of SOE now...the old & the new. im pretty sure the new will be way better than the old. Same with stormshield. Do not think its good idea to go pure legendaries for now)
I wanna earn 1mil to be able to grab a low rolled Kym(LOH & resist) and a SOE(hopefully <15%).

Anyone has recommendation for gears actually? I actually wish D3 profiles are up, so i can link it.
Im looking for good items for the follow...my wish list for now so to speak: Prices are in NA market

Chest - Rares? Or is there a legendary worth it. Priority to upgrade because im using a 69vit 40allresist blue chest. Pretty weak.
Ring - Which rings are good? What stats should i be looking out for if im grabbing rares instead. %dmg reduction is good on rings right?
Amulet - thinking of kymbo, cheap & decent. Comes with all resist & LOH. Expensive amulet probably Mara's. Or even Blackthorne Medal.
Belt - String of Ears...requirement is <15% (i've seen bargains of 400k for 18%, but i wasnt quick enough.damn)
Shield - Stormshield. However its too fricking expensive! Thinking to grab a Rare with <25% block & all resist(50)

Would appreciate help with my list please. Which cheaper item should i aim for 1st that will have the largest impact on my gear. Not stormshield tho....because its crazy expensive.
Its driving me crazy trying to figure out what to get next haha.

I had both Kymbo and Maras personally I think Kymbos is better for the life hit as long as you get some melee reduction from other items. Also if you don't mind spending a okay amount to get Firewalkers.
