How does this work? depends on the build. a lot of people just cheesed 2h using 2M cooldowns, specifically EQ. If you blow WoTB then EQ it doubles its damage. EQ only cares about weapon damage, so a big slow 2H was ideal. I think if you were one of the few trying to legit run 2h spec while having proper armor, resist etc., attack speed was likely important. I'm going to be doing a lot of testing when I get home... :E | ||

My stats and items before 1.0.3: http://i47.tinypic.com/34j4qqq.jpg (this is before War Cry and Berserker Rage, my dps in combat is 36k) Due to ias nerf, I'm going to lose ~18% dps, loh and fury generation. Do you think I'll still be able to play Act III? I can easily regain dps via crit chance/damage, but at that point (1.50as or even worse if I change weapon) I fear that loh will be useless... | ||

im running a 850 dps 150str/150vit weapon currently resulting in 18k dps with 8000 armor, 40k life, 1000-1100 all resistances (with shout) highest tier 20% block shield. not that bad i think, but no, i can definately not tank act 3 inferno elites. revange just doesnt bring enough life back from all the dmg i'm taking. so my guess: guide is wrong, either loh or ll is essential. | ||

Seems odd. Also your armor is kind of low for having so much resist. Either way, I'd assume you could do act3 post-patch. | ||

at about 45/46 if you have ~1k dps and decent other stats you can level off the first boss in act4 over and over. using WotB(insanity) + earthquake you can drop him in 3-4 seconds. i just leveled from 49-50 in 12 minutes, roughly 500k xp second tip for people wanting to farm act1 in mf gear post patch. spec frenzy side arm war cry impunity WotB insanity earthquake the mountains call leap iron impact revenge provocation aka standard SECRET SUPER TIP (probably kinda obvious) furious charge merciless assault. for trash, spam charge over and over, the 1 second knock up allows you to charge forever basically taking no damage. even in a terrible gimp suit with maxed MF you can kill pretty much any act1 trash with 0 risk. when you find an elite pack simple blow your cds and melt them in 10 seconds. obviously faster with better gear but you can get through a butcher run with crap tank stats, better weapon really helps though.
