Depends on what I'm doing. Usually not more than once per 5 minute. gear: A ton, probably 10-15mil+, but I still have excess of moniez (crafting and drops), not making donations 350%+ mf helps with dropping items. | ||

I made it quite painlessly to Belial on inferno. However, I can't kill him, i just can't. I suspect my damage is too low, since every other WD i've seen to kill him can nuke the shit out of him in P2 (when he comes down from his platform). Im sitting at 16k damage and 38k health with all resistances around ~200. The build i have been using (for Belial) is: - Dart with splinters, - Grasp of the dead with -80% - Haunt with the mana restore - Spirit walk with honored quest - The totem with slam dance (+30% damage) - Fetish army with legion of daggers OR Insect swarm (or whatever it is) with the burning ones. After he comes down from his platform and i get to throw some nukes at him, i basically can dwindle him down to ~50%, after which i get raped by adds. Should i somehow survive the adds and finish him off or is my damage basically too low? I seem to drown in the adds even if i try to get rid of them as quickly as possible. Thanks to any/everyone in advance and sorry for the longish post | ||

Basically you want to have ~25k dps to kill P2 before adds, then its all about P3 dodging. I was farming act 1 till I had 40k dps, then I switched to act 2 farm. | ||

But when the adds spawn I am dead, I don't see how I can burst him down without getting even more dps :/ | ||

You should easily take down p2 before adds (I did it with 26k dps unbuffed) Right now it's: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#akUdXZ!bVW!aaaYZa but when I was doing quests I changed my build every engagement, I use SA passive now because I don't have any items for mana regen and 2.7 or so attack speed with darts is a mana drain  | ||

At start I go far right, put grasp to slow the ones coming from middle and burst down the ones that spawn close. But it is so tight to survive that I see no opening to ever get a bunch of stacks going, unless there is another way to manouver around in p1 than what I described. GF might do the trick though, I'll try that. | ||

But when the adds spawn I am dead, I don't see how I can burst him down without getting even more dps :/ I burned P2 down solo with 29K DPS you can get 4 soul harvest stacks from the first 4 summons in P1 get through P1 quickly and you should still have the 4 stacks up for P2 assuming you runed for a 60 second buff in P2 pop BBV and fetishes then find a ranged spot in BBV range, just stand there, and hope he doesn't target you if he throws poison balls at you, Spirit Walk in reaction and keep firing. if he throws more poison balls at you, just keep standing and have Spirit Vessel proc if necessary and keep burning P2 down passives Pierce the Veil, Spirit Vessel, Gruesome Feast. try to avoid P1 health globes and run over them just before P2 occurs | ||

Will probably start to farm him with stacks along with Kulle (as there's almost nothing between the quests), while slowly progressing into Act 3. I've been running pretty balanced gear instead of glass cannon so far, will have to see if the mobs bring me to oneshot range to warrant the swap into full dps. Act 2 is starting to feel more like Act 1 in terms of difficulty as the gear has slowly progressed, I dropped some vit in favor of more armor, resistances and damage, which actually made noticeable difference as I was bit heavier on vit than expected. Still using darts with mass cc/survival, sometimes I miss having dot(s) or aoe, but getting so used to massive control... it's hard to give up any of it. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/L39Ey.jpg) running around in glass cannon gear is hilarious in A1 Inferno. I'm surprised my WD can take hits with just 13.7K HP. I'm not sure how tough I remember A1 Inferno being but its an absolute pushover in comparison to A2+. | ||

Because I have 2.21 AS, I cannot take PtV, SV and DF together because I will be oom before P1 even ends. I need Spiritual Attunement. And I have just tried swapping either spell in, but in both cases with 4 stacks and doing straight up DPS he is still at 15-20% when the adds spawn. So I will need to gear up more! (bought me mojo with +8 mana regen which also gave me +800 dps and +2k life, let's hope this does the trick ^^) | ||
