I have 2.21 and it is also fast enough that attack animation is not a limiting factor anymore. In going for very high attack speeds, you have to balance out two factors: - High attack speeds are nice because it makes +dmg scale a lot better (lets say you get +10 dmg on an item, at 2as this is +20 dps, at 3as this is +30 dps), and it makes the +dmg on your mojo one of the most important stats. - As I have recently found out, the mana limitations are huge. At belial and in act 3 I was going oom just dps'ing. And you don't want to be bogged down in having to rely on Spiritual Attunement because you need flexibility in your passives for difficult content. But I got me +8 mana/s on my mojo and now I don't have any mana problems anymore even with PtV and without SA, and suddenly everything became easier.
running around as a glass cannon and being in 1 shot range of everything, ~2.2 attack speed didn't feel adequate to me in A3 to react to things
other thing though is that I'm not sure if this is due to latency or that player character hitboxes are larger than what we see, but I've been hit by so many projectiles in A3 where I thought I was in the clear
I'm guessing hit detection is done server side and I have to overcompensate in reaction to where I see my character and where I see the projectile going
I cleared most of A3 today (until Cydea then EU servers went down), I had a crossbow before I found my current 1H weapon and that was too slow but now it is fine, for me atleast. And I personally don't have a problem with hitboxes, my connection is 30-40ms.
Also I'm a bit conflicted about going for a pure glass cannon build atm. I have played all of A3 and A4 already so I know the difficulty, and even though I am only at 33k hp and 250 resist all, I already see the difference in my survivability compared to for example my DH friend who is at 15k hp. It won't make a difference vs those things that kill you in one hit, but I am seeing plenty of side damage that kills him instantly and I can survive without proccing Spirit Vessel. It's probably still the best way to go for very high DPS and ignore survivability because it seems unaffordable to get my DPS much higher while keeping the same life and defense..
I posted this in the simple questions thread but I may find the answer here:
I found a WD off hand and one of the stats is increases poison dart damage 9%. When I hover over it, will the increase/decrease in damage take into account I'm currently using poison darts?

it doesn't
Hmm ok, what's the best to compare then?
take your base DPS then plus or subtract whatever the DPS difference between the items are, then multiply the calculated DPS by 1.09 for poison dart damage
Got so freaking bored of WD. Basically you can kil any elites in hell but you have to switch your abilities around so much and kite them to an entrance. Then you throw bears at them while they're mass confused and take more damage and have the fetishes around. Then you go heal to the city around 2-3 times. Then you die a bit and ress immediately so they don't regen HP. After 1 more minute your fetishes should be back up and hopefully you'll get a kill. There, 10 minutes passed and you killed an elite pack after kiting it around for 15 minutes straight. I guess that'll be the way in inferno as well, just more damage dealt and more deaths. Game is dead to me.

or just get better gear before going to higher difficulty and play normally.
I am liking WD a lot more now. Playing with my DH friends (and one monk) makes me feel more unique. I finished act 3 today, and farmed 5-stack siegebeast some more. Also managed to sell the spoils from 1.5 hours of running chest with 3 people for 1.2 mil, pretty good feeling when I previously had not been able to sell anything over 25k to save my life. I'm getting my CC down and my kiting and this is making WD much more enjoyable to play. I pretty much got acts 1-3 on farm now, with act 4 still being a problem to be tackled when I gear up more.

I tried a VQ bear build once, and it made me want to delete my WD the gameplay is so horrible. Luckily you don't need anything besides splinter spam. There might be bosses you can do really fast with it if you have very high dps but other than that it is just clunky to have to put all your spells on CD and walk into melee range of killer mobs constantly. Before inferno you can just use a minion build to clear all content. Only in inferno does that not work anymore, and you need to switch to CC + splinters.
Still very annoying that its bad to stack anything but int / vit. Up to Hell fair play but beyond that you should need to at least consider str for survivability (as due to diminishing returns it will be better than int after a while), but no, there's no point in bothering, might pay off in 6 months time when you've got those stats + decent dps but if you want to just skip to later acts with any kind of efficiency theres no point in anything but int / vit. I've got about 300+ all resist and 3.5k armour but I get smashed in Act 2 (even using horrify armour buff ~7k) barely survive any hits and pets are useless, shouldn't have wasted my time trying anything fancy >.<

anyone have suggestions for Inferno WD group builds?
I'm currently thinking of using this build if there's no tank
and switching out Spiders for Splinter Darts and Tribal Rites for Spritual Attunement if there is a tank
does anyone know if the fetishes summoned when using Fetish Army can die? I know the Fetishes that get summoned through the Fetish Sychophants passive can die.
I killed inferno Diablo today with 55k dps, 48k hp, ~400 allres It took me around 50 tries
also game isnt too hard, pets need a buff thats for sure, but dying 1hit on act 2/3 is just because of bad gear Sometimes I can even survive Flower's of death attack (inferno pony lvl)
I'm currently level 50 on my HC WD and was curious where you guys recommend I farm for better items and whatnot. I am currently in act 2 of NM, as I have been very paranoid and wanted to make sure I am as ahead in levels as possible
Should I do the pony thing? Seems like a lot of gold T_T Gold I don't have...
Hey, my friend just hit lvl 60 and he asked me about what he should invest in with his 1.5 million in order to be able to hold his own in inferno, thoughts? How does WD itemize anyway, if I may ask?
