Thanks. Will try that. What about passives? Am I doing it right with glass cannon, astral presence and cold blooded? I'm having a seriously hard gear check, and now I'm also wondering about which follower I should opt for... I have Templar right now with about 41k HP, but still dies pretty quickly to most blue/yellow mobs. I'm assuming that Scoundrel or Enchantress will die just as fast, or even worse. | ||

Edit: reasoning: depends if you have any other Arcane power intensive spells that you are spamming, but I only need one blizzard every 6 sec and I want it to cover as much area as possible and mainly spam hydra / MM with it so my AP management is fine. The 280%/8sec improvement rune isnt worth it, its the same dps as the original blizzard. | ||

So that's one blizzard with the second coming a second or two later. If you're laying down two blizzards to maximize your kite time on a champion pack, then you're hosed if you get a side pull. The 20 ap rune lets you lay down 2 blizzards (which has similar coverage in a line than a single blizzard with stark winter) and still be safe with additional blizzards if you get adds or if the champ pack teleports. | ||

I'm currently using this: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#aRXQSO!YXU!abaZZY Tried swapping either of the damage skills for AO but then i got drained out of the AP too fast. Buying AH gear isn't really a solution because i'm poor as hell so i think i should just optimise my skills for faster attack speed, should i just drop 1 of the action bar skills for AO and use it till i'm out of AP? | ||

So having int on your weapon is quite important it makes up for alot of other stats. | ||

Obviously it varies a lot depending on what stats you have, but crit damage can be a better gem at 5% crit or more than + dmg. | ||
