i have around 5mil so im looking to beef up what i currently have. I do around 44k DPS but need that to improve and also my life is only 14k so i die in 1 shot.

Unless you're going to spend 10-20 mill on something or need something specific for a particular boss fight you shouldn't be getting legendaries. If you have 14k HP get some rares with more vit on them.

I just finished Act 1 Inferno, and now I've got 2 million to spend... Currently doing 22k DPS, with 29k HP, and around 250 all resists...
What do you guys think are my chances for Act 2? Roughly what numbers should I aim for?

Okay. Honestly I haven't spent more than 15k gold on any part of my gear... I've got a 907 DPS 2-hander right now. Should I invest on MF gear and keep on farming Act 1?
|
I think you should buy more powerful gear and farm in other acts instead. Because of valors, I think MF in this game isn't as important as it was in D2. Maybe you'll find less items, but they will be better for sure. And even if you just want to keep farming act 1, the improved effectiveness of your new items would reduce the time of your runs, etc.
|
For me, I need to get a better weapon first and foremost.
Gear is decent, but I really am not killing at the speed I feel like I should be.

I agree with this. Several of my friends keep buying MF gear and are stacking like +200 MF farming act1 but I'm doing various parts of act3 with 0 MF and making a lot more/hour and having more fun. Get gear that's good for killing stuff and you can farm stuff people actually want to buy.

If I get a great upgrade with MF on it, then great for me, otherwise it's not worth it.

Nah just get enough APM to switch gear before you kill an elite and put it on before you open a good chest

Besides the weapon, I would really suggest these legendary bracers with movement speed and attack speed. Its the biggest dps boost you can get on that slot and the additional movement speed is just awesome. I bought mine yesterday with sth like 60 int for 2,5 mill and they are worth every penny.

Tought i was gonna have issues with the zergs of mobs when you do the catapults but shit just melts. I was using a 1150 dps blue i bought for 400k in act2 though, but had to buy a better weap for Belial.

I think I'm looking at good odds of beating Belial [inferno ofc] so I'm going to post my stats since I think they're low/manageable by farming (not flipping ah). I've been to phase 3 before as well, which is just dodging (venom hydraaaaaaaaaaaaaa), but with this gear it's pretty easy to get to phase 3, I get there around 75% of the time
30k dps (been there with 23k) before buff (39.2k after magic weapon force weapon) 3820 armor 1391 int 239 ares going up to 291 fire (freakin fire. not that it helps me a bit vs belial ;-; ) I just bought a 870dps 171int sword to bring the dps up. Why why why didn't I upgrade my weapon first T_T

He died while doing his 2nd hands in the ground channel attack. he really melts fast with AO/Hydra.
what is your atk speed and crit? your dps seems pretty high for a 900 dps weapon. i think i really need crit but i can't find shit.

So I'm at Inferno Diablo, and I'm wondering if you guys have any suggestions for builds / strats for him.
Currently I have gotten like 50% though phase 2 but I ALWAYS screwup at some point and get one hit by a fireball, get trapped in a prison, image spawns in front of me and one shots me with arcane orb. It seems doable but I just can execute well enough. Using Hydra/orb with ds, wormhole, fw, fa and glass cannon, evocation, and the AP regen passive.

=\ I have 37k and I swear I can't kill stuff fast enough in P1/2. Much less get healed back up after taking more or less unavoidable damage from belial.

You'll be able to shoot a lot more constantly and your damage output will be improved.
12% movespeed boots, if you don't already have them, help as well because you can avoid fireballs and prisons significantly more easily.

Yeah I have a hard time parting with my gold lol. I still have 2.3 million, and I don't want to spend more than 20k gold on an item.
I just beat Magdha, but now I can't proceed in the sewers.

Just think of it like Starcraft, got to keep your bank low, but also make sure that you spend on useful things. You will farm faster and higher stuff if you have better items. What is the money for, if not for buying items to make your character more deadly.
