Also, why not just skip some attack speed and go for mass intelligence? You can probably gain 50 int on each peace that way.

does no1 use temporal flux ? with it i can kite shit all day long with AO. A1 Inferno atm only thing i have problem with is invuln minions/mortars ofc..

It's one of the best if you use an Arcane Orb based build. Not so good if you use a blizzard/venom hydra build which a lot of people do.

i just found a nice sellable item that will probably bring me up to 2-3million gold and i would like to spend that as optimal as possible on a new weapon.
I am however a bit confused about what stats i should look for.
I'm mostly using the arcane orb/hydra build.
So whats the pros and cons in fast vs slow weapons for a kiting build?
My current understanding is that a slow 2hander should be a lot better, because u get to spend your AP more effectively and need to stop running less frequently. Only downside is a longer casting animation.
Also, achieving the same dps values with 2 items (1h+oh) might be much more expensive than a single 2h?
Last question: How much int equals a point of dps on a weapon? (as in: is the mace with 100 less dps but 180 int more better or worse?)

Slow 2H for sheer hitting power on Orb is best imo, you want to get the highest single hits because you have limited shots (AP regen).
Int increases damage by 1% per point, you can see that figure in the 'details' tab from inventory.
Firebolts rings: Two on the right. Best overall stats.

Yeah it's not too bad. Bottom left is nice but has no vit so :<
I just use two int/vit/attack speed rings myself, they're kind of low on my priority list to upgrade.

I could definitely use new rings. Idk, maybe I'll go crit rings cause I have like 1.8 attack speed already. If you're not using the upper left one, how much would you sell it for?

attack speed has it's place in a hydra/blizzard build anyway.
I use seeker with temporal flux and dynamo and since you can actually get attacks off while running with a decent attack speed, it allows you to do considerable extra damage. it's especially effective in groups where you can shoot all of your damage spells around corners and terrain.
and yes, the current thinking is that hydra does damage based on DPS. if you care about the damage your blizzard does, Im a bit confused. who cares about the difference between crap and awful?

That totally depends on absolute value of the damage on the weapon, not just the increase. For example (assuming 1.0 attack speed and 1000 int from other items), if you are doing 10,000 dps right now, then losing 100 dps and gaining 180 int will take you to 10355 dps. If you were doing 4000 dps, on the other hand, then the switch would take you from 4000 to 3366 dps.

I'm actually on the US server. Yay for RL friends screwing me over with 400 ping! 
I had put it on the AH for 300k but just managed to cancel it. 260k?
edit: Down from 45k to 40k paper dps, screw you attack speed for spoiling me!
