The first tower is rather annoying, you just have to somehow get through it, and restart if you get to annoying elite groups. If you have enough room, and enough gear, phasebeasts can be dealt with by having 25% runspeed and just kiting them off/at the edge of the screen so they don't teleport. If you are not too squishy, you can change directions with diamondskin and teleport, and thus continue to do that basically forever, but the direction switches are always dangerous, so longer distance is useful, and more damage of course. Soul Lashers usually require a restart except if you can put them somewhere where you can shoot at them from above. The second tower is easy, just blood clan and succubi in there.

Here's my stats if anyone was wondering since I spam post in here
+ Show Spoiler +
I have replacement gloves if I ever need like 60 more resistance, but right now I don't.

just something i was wondering, but is the extra like 26% weapon damage over 6 seconds really worth it over 30% slow from MM?

really dont understand how someone has 92 mil just lying around

I just thought about going 1h Wand (Extra Arcane Power, Arcane Power on Crit, Critical Damage, Socket) with Source (8% Crit Chance, Extra Arcane Power, Arcane Power on Crit) + Storm Crow (Extra AP, AP on Crit). Gives me 113k dps on the spreadsheet. With all the extra AP and 37% crit chance you can even go Obliteration with your AOs. The problem is getting additional IAS items.

What I don't understand too is how he got it? Very lucky on drops and AH perhaps.

92 million are not that much, i can pretty consistently make about 1 mio/hour or more just doing azmodan runs, and i suspect there are people who are even more effective. Now add to that people who did chestruns/goblinruns, and 92 mio are not that far off if you farm a bit and dont spend to much.

is the thread maker ever going to put a tad bit of effort into the OP? like, maybe post some solid builds, strats, etc. Right now it's just "wheeeee wizards are fun xD let's discuss wizards; here's my personal wizard"

Hey guys, i am a hardcore wizard and i have a few questions:
how is the survivability of a wizard? is it possible to farm inferno at all safely? What stats should i watch out for? how importnat is resi, armor and vitality compared to int?
how should my skills look like?
would rly appreciate help. Dont like to play SC anymore cause its broken and no fun anymore.

If you think the balance of SC is broken... I'm scared for you playing a game like Diablo

I thought crafting isn't worth it right now? I should start doing that, since I haven't been salvaging anything at all.

Posted this multiple times along the thread, seems he just doesn't care. It's a shame compared to the DH thread imo.

Diablo on inferno is a bitch. I died several times in the cutscene between p1 and p2 because I couldn't move and got caged or got hit by a fireball ~~ Other than that I think I'm doing somethin wrong, I can manage p1 pretty easily I only die when she ports to me and close range fireballs my face. Never made it out of p2 because of the same shit, when it looks good my clone spawns right next to me and one shots me. Feels like stupid RNG to me :<

avoid clone spawns by constantly moving, which you should always do anyway as a wizard. im not certain, but it feels like clones are supposed to spawn right in your face based on how often that happens when i am standing still (100% of the time actually).

Look at the prices of the mats on the AH. You should be salvaging almost every lvl60 item. I think people finally realized that crafting the 6 prop armor is profitable.

not the balance, the game itself. not many ppl play honest imo, goblin or treasure farming, abusing bugs and glitches or even botting is way too common in sc. i know it was a lot worse in d2, but i had higher hopes for d3 sc. HC is a lot more stable concidering those things.

I'm constantly moving though (19% ms), I never had a lucky try and I'm always getting bullshitted by fireballs or clones :D
