"People need to understand the Roach range change is a subtle counter to the Pylon cannon wall in that Zergs will constantly face. The pylon cannon wall in is uncounterable until Hydralisks, and puts the Zerg very, very far behind because they need the expansion due to the way Larvae management works. " People need to understand that having a drone at your ramp patrolling isn't hard =) | ||

The proxy marauder rushes and the double barracks on 9 marine rushes were probably too strong. The reaper change is pretty dumb but oh well, maybe they'll do something to buff them so they can become more of a regular unit now. The roach change definitely allows them to be used offensively. Zerg buildings desperately needed a HP buff. The one thing I'm a bit worried about with the Terran barracks change is Terran pretty much can't cheese anymore while the other races still can. | ||

I personally highly disagree with the Barracks requiring a Depot change, as the other changes they have mentioned would deal with Terran rushes well enough. Such as Nitro Packs being moved to Factory Tech, meaning Speedlings would be able to contain them and Terran would have a higher tech cost to reach that upgrade. Although that does mean we have the opportunity to see some Hellion + Reaper Ideas. In other words, opening up more styles of play rather the eliminating it is a much better change to me. | ||

I'm an aggressive Terran player and I 9 rax vs toss and 10 rax vs Terran. I usually rauder rush toss into a fe and rine bunker t's to a FE. I'm not a big fan of TvT so I play it different with early aggression and a FE to gain a economy advantage. Now my tvts are going to be soooo boring like normal tvt ![]() The other changes are fine, but the rax? Come on if Zerg can 6 pool I should be able to 9 rax ! | ||

This as an upgrade is OK The reaper speed upgrade will require the Factory, which is meant to weaken a lot of the early terran reaper attacks that dominate so many matches, especially in team games. This makes no sense imo :D | ||
