I don't hold any malice towards anyone. You're write, this will only make them more insular as a community, which is kinda sad. If you put that you have ADD/dyslexia in your book description or author description I think everyone will drop their attacks, because writing a book like that must be impressive.

I feel like DDOSing the site just for all the racist shit on there. That fred guy is trolling me hard, just because I know he's not actually trolling and there are still people like that.

people this conceited and small minded deserve to be force fed reality, welcome to the internet i say.
in other news, i believe Hot_Bid's book deserves it's own thread, and promotion.
normally I am all for humanity, and honestly winning da interwebz by raiding is a 4chan behavior that i would normally take no part in, BUT they are being racist small minded individuals, and as such I believe Hot_Bid needs to get into first place.

Guys, fred is a racist fuck, yes. However, most of the people on the site genuinely care about what they're doing. Additionally, Klazart genuinely cares about his book (although I suspect what happened was not at all what he was picturing, lol). Don't vote up garbage books, as you're going to get him disqualified. Yes, Hot_Bid's book is funny (especially his bookshelf, lol). No, don't try to vote it up to #1. Don't invade, we're not 4chan or whatever. Let's show some maturity

While I can believe you didn't expect it to blow up like it did, I think you knew exactly what you were doing when you appealed to your youtube fanbase.

I think he was picturing people just go, vote up his book, and his book gets reviewed by editors. I don't think he was picturing people registering and arguing, etc. I think he neglected that a lot of BW people are kinda dumb, and also quite a few people on TL dislike him (and no I am not saying that people who are dumb dislike him, nor that people who dislike him are dumb; there is no connection between the two, and some people may be both, one of the two, or neither) and would try to get him disqualified/fuck up the site.

That was the trigger that pushed people to mass-join their site, which lead to the toppling of their ranking system.

He made a strict interpretation of the rules because it favored him. Clearly the spirit of the site is not into mass voting by people who will never read the book or never check the site again for more books.
Now when someone makes a stricter interpretation he doesn't like it at all. Should have placed himself in all the other writers shoes, who don't have an army of YouTube users to vote up a book.

http://www.authonomy.com/Forum/Posts.aspx?forumId=2&threadId=18697&pageNumber=24 :
I went to bed last night not knowing what would change and came back here today to find things rearranged. There are lots of new members to whom I say 'Hello' and many older members telling them where to go.
I don't know if it's just because I never joined the dance I never thought my poetry stood any kind of chance
My novel standing even less I just came here for fun But lately even that was less as quarrels had begun.
I see the thing from both sides I've always been two faced There are those who are upset because they trusted in the race.
I hope they can relax a bit and settle down to writing I've never seen a positive result from endless fighting.
But one thing I would like to say if you're still with me at this point Is that all these new members are entitled to be in this joint.
They represent the public if we count them statistically So use them to gauge public interest seems the way to go to me.
You wouldn't go on telly and tell the watchers there That they weren't allowed (because you said) to buy your book or share?
That only folk who were your friends could take a copy home? I may be wrong but I don't care who engages with my tome.
So lets play nice and welcome these new folk with friendly open arms, They're here and we might just make new friends it can't do any harm.

When the Authonomy users started attacking him, supporters of Klazart used that to come to his defense, and to attack back. That's why their forums are such a mess right now, as well as why it seems Klazart regrets his involvement on that site (or so it seems to me). Also, I think Hilton's post on the Authonomy thread is essentially what will happen...
