I know people want it to be, its just so easy to do the 1k 370+ People do try to group with people they can trust but it doesn't mean every time you log in there are 4 people ready to play the roles you need to fill out a group. So you pug what you need to fill. If one of the pugs plays well, you add him to your friend's list. Next time you log on, that's one more possible person to form a group with before you resort to pugging again. But yeah of course you will want to pug people with similar experience as your own, using raider.io to check that experience. The closer in experience you are with a person, the more likely you are to get along.
So what is the problem is the current itemization? That itemlevel is supposed to be everything? Or that people are fooled by boosted (titanforged) player? Every leader who is doing cutting edge content with pugs should filter them out

The problem is, if you had watched the video, that you can get item level 350+ from outside dungeons and raids, doing braindead content that doesnt teach you anything. And when youre at that itemlevel and want to start doing m+, you will already need to do 7+ in order to get upgrades for your gear. But that level is way too hard for you, because until now you never actually played the game. You didnt need to pass a dpscheck, you didnt need to dodge a voidzone, you didnt need to interrupt an enemy and you didnt need to watch out for ninja pulls. Everything just fell in your lap. So now you are completely overwhelmed by the difficulty and you cant upgrade your gear so you go on the official forums and complain.

It is a much understated point that you do not need a full 5 man friends group. Hanging out with a single friend in voice and pugging the rest of a m+ increases both sucess rate and enjoyment significantly. For me at least, and Id assume this to be true for most people.

Its simple. Blizzard doesn't want WQ's to be useless when you have done normal mode Dungeons.
And because Titanforging (sigh, i hate it) this problem gets amplified.

Why is someone like that in your group? 350 = Keystone 4. If you are not capable of compensating someone like that, its your own fault. Pretty sure you already need a high itemlevel before you get 350 gear anyway. All this is a problem with the Player, not the system

What do you mean why is someone like that in your group? The complaint is from the perspective of that player, not from my perspective playing with that player. It's that player complaining that dungeons are too hard for him because he lacks the skills for those that are tailored to his ilvl.

Man i wish i would know the actual % of player doing the world quest only to 355 for weeks/month, knows NOTHING about dungeons, has never ran heroic or mythic and doesnt know what his buttons do. You can gear to 350 within a very short time frame without having to do anything above a mythic 0.

A player may have a basic understanding of their core class abilities and a vague idea of dungeon mechanics but when you step into increasingly difficult keys you are often faced with issues that were trivial in lower keys. Assuming that the player knows nothing about the dungeon is a hyperbole -- he may be inexperienced with certain key levels and affix combinations which can make it seem as if he has no prior knowledge of the dungeon. There are things I am constantly learning out of necessity as I push higher and higher. It doesn't help that many of the dungeon and class mechanics are purposefully obfuscated (mind rend on the third boss in SotS is a good example).

How fast? Keep in mind: Those people know nothing about the game. And i just googled "Fast 350". Its GATED(!!!) behind Reputation, crafting, AH. And not alot of items are 355 buyable through Rep. What has changed that people are so fast at 355?

Mostly arathi rares/warfronts/lfr. Getting 340s from m0s as people did at start of xpac is much 'healthier' and a bit less free loot then from those sources. Its really impossible to expect a fresh 120 now though to go the normal-heroic-mythic dungeon route to gear. It is very inefficient. But even people with much better gear than 350 from raid (heroic even) are often underprepared for the dungeons. And then people who do a lot of m+ tend to be rather elitist about it. /shrug

Warfront gear is 340. And you need some itemlevel for that. And its not always active. The funniest shit is: Its about people whining on the official forum. you need 320 to q for both warfront and lfr. Baseline 340 gear, a few free 370s here and there and they don't require anything beyond that to get gear. I dunno man if you do low keys the people are terrible, but thats ALWAYS been true 90% of the playerbase is awful. I have no idea as to what you are arguing or the point of the discussion. Your posts are always confrontational and baffling. I don't know what your point is except you are angry. xd

Got memed so hard on Fetid earlier today. I got the absolute dream rng on my opener, but unfortunately since we were running a lineup light on heals one of our tanks died at about 15-20%. In the split second before the backup tank took aggro, Fetid picked me out of 28 other people to one shot autoattack

Naw I was definitely to the side of him and he definitely turned to hit me
I rarely use Tricks in raid tbh except when we need to go on adds (especially mythrax since I've had experiences where tanks don't pick up the big adds quick enough)

Either you were the closest person to the second tank or you had more threat than him when the other tank died - not random :D
If in doubt, tricks a healer so that you both have mediocre threat in the middle of the fight and the boss will switch to some poor DPS that doesn't have threat management mechanics instead

Oh don't get me wrong I'm fully aware it's not random lol. It was a crazy stacked raid though and I'm not sure if I was generating the most threat.
Anyway my point being it's a bit unfortunate that my tank randomly died in a crazy geared grouped, and I also happened to be the one generating threat at that moment on a pull where everything else went right for me. Would have been my second 99 parse on heroic
