Yeah Nony it's simply bad luck. I just finished leveling my Hunter on Alliance to 120 through Herbalism/Mining (I had already done all the alliance questing and all that so figured it'd be a nice way to level an alt while watching series and Starcraft) and it's crazy really how different it can be day to day. To sum it up I could have a 2-4 hour session and get 0 Anchor and then the following day I could get tons. Best I have ever gotten is 3 Anchor in 5 herb nodes, 5 Anchor in 8 herb nodes and 2 Anchor nodes in a row. Worst I have done without Anchor is probably 5 hours... I did all my leveling using the same routes so that doesn't make a difference either, it's just RNG what repopps after you pick.
Maybe they should increase it? I don't know, going to be super interesting for someone like me that has rank 3 flasks/pots and endless herbs what will happen on Wednesday on my server. (High population raiding server, Silvermoon-EU) I sold flasks the first days I could make rank 3 (day 2-3) for 4k and when the price dropped I stopped selling and have just been holding for this first raiding week.
Don't know if this post made you happier or sadder when it comes to RNG but there really is now way to "farm" it except head out and check the minimap.
Hope you get 3 Anchors in a row one day!

Making transmute to herbs contain Anchor Weed, increasing world quest(s) that has anchor weed as a reward, slightly increase world spawn rate would be my suggestions.

Transmute to herb can get Anchor Weed. I got one in that once.

I've done the transmute 6 times a week since launch and I've gotten none. So maybe that could use some increase too.

Got the +10 Anchor Weed WQ today, feels good man.

Yup, got it for the first time as well during weekend. Really glad there's at least one WQ.

Leveling 60-80 was excruciating but most people who were smart about it "abused" Karazhan leveling in which you could kill trash from ~72-81 and basically hit 9 levels in about 2 hours, they fixed that though and the 15% doesn't make up for it.
Overall im probably going to level a Maghar Orc Warrior and a Zandelari Troll Druid but boy am I not looking forward to that.

But to people saying I had bad luck, yeah I think I agree. I had some good luck yesterday and so I have quite a few more now (plus the WQ helped).
Time to rant about missions: I got the research that allows me to have 6 different troops at once and yet multiple times I've found myself without the correct counters. This is the 2nd time I've had to suicide troops on some unimportant mission just so I can recruit more and hope that the new troops counter the right things. And speaking of unimportant missions, we've already discussed that the gold rewards are a joke, but now that I'm exalted with a few reputations and I'm still getting missions for rep. That's an even bigger joke. When you're exalted with all or you don't care about getting exalted, all these reputation reward missions are totally useless and they pop up quite a bit.
Just blows my mind that people who aspire to be game designers and join a company as good as Blizzard and have 2 expansions of experience with mission systems, and many other games with mission systems to learn from or copy, they come up with this shit. Like if I was a college freshman taking game design 101 and the final project was to design a mission system for an MMORPG, I'm pretty sure I'd do better than this shit. There are things about it that are just flat out wrong. Not game design trade-offs but just flat out worse than some alternatives. Disappointing.

I agree that I often have like 3-4 missions which are only possible with the goblin dude and he's like 1 day away for a 300 AP mission. Also what's the use of outpost upgrades? Mission gold rewards are joke I agree but so are WQ ones with 80-110g. It'd at least have to be around the 500-1000 range to be profitable.

Yeah the second the rep doesnt matter anymore no one is going to touch those 80-110 wqs/

the outpost upgrades all have unique things. One has an ettin that carries you around for 30s but hes very fast. One has a buff. Overall they are very negligible.

Overall they are very negligible. The first one I got was the very fast mount and I got excited that they were all gonna provide very fast mounts and WQ's would be nicer that way. But they go sharply downhill from there. Negligible buffs, free alcohol, critters to pet... lol

I never do the long mission. There is no way that sending someone away for a day for 300-600 AP is worth it when he can do 4 missions for 100-300 instead.
Its reward needs to go way way up.
I don't even know what the Alliance Outpost upgrades do. 1 is a super fast mount which is sweet, one is a scrap-a-tron which is useless since I have no immediate need to use it in the field and the other 3 orso? I dont even know what they do.

Another makes the outpost have a bunch of critters that you can pet for no benefit at all.
Cyro did the smart thing. Get the fast mount and save 400 resources on the others.

I only recently discovered that honorbound rep gave new fp camps, so I got my first today (why wowheads rep guide omitted that reward I’ll never know).
Now I guess I’ll search for only those + whatever gives mount speed and skip rest.

I can't believe they released with some dunegons having gamebreaking bugs preventing to finish them.
It's the third time so far this expac I do Sethraliss and one of the orbs for the Eyes of the Skull bugs out and never respawns, forcing us to leave and reset.

They really skimped on the mission hubs though. They could have fleshed them out SO much more. To the point that you made earlier it makes no sense that what troop you have matters so much and they are all bunched together in the same recruiting system making it RNG what you get.... like man I hate RNG. I would prefer if it was ALOT more expensive to get troops but if you wanted ranged troops you could recruit two ranged ones from the Wildhammers. You want mounted troops? Recruit some expensive Elekk Draenei. You want some melee? Recruit some melee then!
Makes more sense to me but guess they want people to fail on missions so RNG is a nice way for them of doing that.
