Nearly all people who got contracts at the beginning already have revered with all factions and a good way to exalted. Not to mention most scribes are drowning in ink so once this change goes live there will be a good amount of these around so I doubt it will cost much.

If the game would just designate which quests are main story quests and which are side quests it'd be so much nicer. I know at least Tera does this. Also when looking up which quest lines are required for the achievement, I found that certain side quest lines were prereqs, which imo makes them part of the required quest line, but I guess technically they're not. Luckily some Wowhead comments were helpful in this but it was still so tedious. Particularly Stormsong Valley. I did appreciate being "forced" to see the story. I'm on the iron dwarf quest line now. Hoping that I can get a free race change if I happen to get a nice customer support person. I used my 110 boost before I knew I could unlock the allied races on Alliance and I haven't played the boosted character yet. I'm not counting on it but I'll at least try, could get lucky. --- Is there any rush for exalted with Champions of Azeroth? The Wowhead article doesn't mention another +15 ilvl for Exalted. So I think there's no rush. I'm just about done with grinding WQ's I guess. I might just grind a few more to Exalted this week to get the 350 gear for Uldir. Then I'll just do Emissaries and sometimes target a few extra Azerite / War Resources ones. Although I'm not afraid of falling back a bit on the Azerite curve, letting AK carry me. edit: Also having 220% mount speed is so nice (from pathfinder), especially when I get 240% after finishing a flight path. I really need to join a guild to get the mount speed perk... 15min hearthstone would also be really nice.

I also had to go in and complete some part of Drustvar that I hadnt bothered with (past Aroms strand to get WQ's) But I didnt mind. I enjoyed the quests. What I was annoyed with was having to run dungeons the game had already made me run for different reasons+ Show Spoiler + (like Complete the main Stormsong Questline and getting the Final dungeon quest, only to find out I gotta go get shit to save Jaina later).

It tends to be kinda obvious because the main questlines are quite linear in the progression. You have to go out of your wayto pick up stuff thats not a part of the main chapters in a zone. But it can happen for sure and there are instances where its not obvious. But nothing that should require an addon.

I only know the alliance ones, Brother Pike in Stormsong, Flynn in Sound, and the chick who's name starts with V in Drust @Rebs Where you not planning to ever run those dungeons again? Kus if not... Welcome to WoW! Revisiting content is practically the bread and butter of this game.

edit: Also having 220% mount speed is so nice (from pathfinder), especially when I get 240% after finishing a flight path. I really need to join a guild to get the mount speed perk... 15min hearthstone would also be really nice. Guild mount speed perk doesn't stack with pathfinder so the speeds are as follows: 200% regular 210% with guild 220% with pathfinder The pathfinder giving a 1.048x bonus seems pretty underwhelming to me. It's not just not being able to fly, we're actually slower than we were on the ground 11 years ago (e.g. crusader aura gave permanent 1.2x buff for 240% epic ground mount speed) despite having the guild perk and pathfinder. We paid an extra 5k for Master Riding, but at the same time they nerfed the way that the speed multipliers work so that Master Riding today is significantly slower than Epic Riding was in TBC. I only know the alliance ones, Brother Pike in Stormsong That takes you through to the instance quest and story but it only gets you like 2/3'rd of the zone achievements; the rest of them are on standalone small stories like the stuff with the horde, quillboar, naga etc

Though I now realize he was probably referring to Kings/Siege and I don't recall what the quest requirements were for those, just the reputation requirement stands out in my mind. And yea I tried to pull purely from my memory on the NPC names.

With the way that the math on the HoA is set up, we're gonna ding once per week - any less and it'll require less time per week to level until you catch up, any more and it'll require more time per week to level until it's impossible. I'm a little into 20 at the moment. -- For Azerite, i like a lot of ideas behind the system but the implementation worries me atm. On the first row, the only one with class specific traits, 9 of the top 10 options for ST throughput on my spec are generics which are given to every class and are just basic procs like when you hit an enemy you have a chance to do X damage; that doesn't change gameplay at all. 3 or 4 of the 6 havoc specific traits are balanced as such that you're not likely to ever use them because any higher ilevel gear that doesn't have the best 2 class traits on them will almost certainly have a generic that beats them out, and that's been similarly true for some other specs that i've looked at. I think, ultimately, a lot of those generics should be removed or put on their own row so that they're not competing with the spec specific traits which are capable of performing roles like tier set, artifact and legendary replacement effects.

World quests only provide about half of AP gain per day that i'd need to hold a 10k average (I haven't touched Zandalar yet today and it has 2.6k on it). A powerful source, but not a spammable one. The higher level you are, the more you're reliant on repeatable spams rather than one-time sources so your AP per hour diminishes. Maintaining 3 levels higher than somebody would probably take 3 times the farming hours per day every day forever even though the AP cost is ~2.2x.

I can hit that on the reset day for sure but as a day to day average it's too much, maybe with some hard farming. World quests only provide about half of that (I haven't touched Zandalar yet today and it has 2.6k on it) The higher level you are, the more you're reliant on repeatable spams rather than one-time sources so your AP per hour diminishes. Yeah I didnt do the math as deep but it seemed like the gains on effort would be alot lower and I already spent to much time playing to get to 19 so I sorta just tailed off. Not totally by choice ofc, but I dont feel that behind.

No I don't know of one. @Rebs I think at least Stormsong Valley was pretty complicated. Also there are some pretty involved side quest lines that don't contribute to the achievement while some of the quest lines that are required for the achievement feel pretty tangential story-wise. And when you hit up a new quest hub, sometimes there's a 2nd npc you need to pick up quests from in order to advance that quest line but other times you can ignore all the other exclamation points. If you hit 120 and faction change and have to do all the quests from scratch, and not while leveling, I think you'll find it's pretty difficult to do just the content required for the achievement and no more. If you knock out a bunch of stuff while leveling, it's not so bad. Horde side I got the achievement in two zones and hit 120 about halfway through the 3rd zone. It would not have been such a hassle to finish the 3rd zone. But anyway, I found myself sometimes skipping something I needed and inefficiently having to double back, while other times I did more than needed. Some of the prereqs to pick up a required quest line are pretty unrelated.
