I think the same but ~6-8 guilds on my server were 7/7m, 3/3n or 1-2 / 3H, some failing heroic with mythic raid teams

I mean, Helya seems legit step up from many mythic EN bosses. Maybe not on the level of ilgynoth yet, but we spent almost 2 hours wiping on it today and got it to maybe 20%. Guarm was a joke on hc though. Gonna have to see monday what happens, still gotta farm M EN this week as well.

Also, fuck 30 man raids, god I hate healing 30 mans.

It's hard to say because a lot of it is tactics but it's hard to overgear. The fight took us twice as long as Cenarius M which gives an indication of the level of lolgearing going on

I guess N TOV is roughly comparable to H EN

Being a brand new raid and as only a fraction of people in guilds outside of the very top players prepare a lot it'll take a little while for people to get used to the fights

It's worth a note that there have been undocumented nerf hotfixes already

So guilds that didn't have any issues in WoD

^On this topic.. WOD was the exception more than anything. Little if any benefit to doing anything beyond raid logging even if you wanted to play.

Wow, two healing helya in a ten man raid was hard because three debuffs were going out at a time. Seemed like the intention was to have three healers. We managed on normal but I imagine it'd be really hard on heroic unless you've got some other classes helping. There was almost no healing on Odyn, middle on Guarm, and then nuts on Helya, but only because of the lack of cleanses. The healing tuning is all over the place.

Erm, no they can't? Spriest can mass dispel and cure diseases, as well as purge magic on hostiles, but only healers can cleanse magic on friendlies.

You can get 2 mass dispels off on cooldown, after that your regen won't match the cooldown anymore. As shadow that is.

We wiped like double the amount on Helya HC in comparison to Xavius Mythic till killing her - ok we invited some friends to get to 30 man for more loot but still a huge step up from Emerald Nightmare HC. Looking forward to mythic next week, should be a great challenge.

We actually did have a shadow priest but didn't do enough pulls to really organize having mass dispel used well. We weren't generally all stacked so it wasn't like when 4 were up he could just cast it and we'd be caught up. If we were doing heroic I'm sure we'd set something up to get the most out of it but on normal we just did one pull to see/learn the mechanics, a few pulls where we were like "oh this actually won't be easy" and then we got the kill. I know frost DK gets an artifact trait that makes their AMS remove debuffs like that, and monks get a talent. I'm guessing there are some other specs that have their own way of dealing with it as well. But just thinking more generally, it seems like they want you to 2/3/5. I'd be pretty impressed if a group killed heroic with 2/2/6 (unless they're in mythic gear but then why would they be doing a 10 man heroic raid). Does anyone even know of any non-mythic guilds that have cleared 10 man heroic ToV? I'd probably want to 2/3/5 and make sure a few of my 5 dps are really good at the submerged phase. I wish I could attempt it but my group is a bit short of 10 good players so we'd have some weak links, and our comp would definitely not be ideal.

Anyway I'm glad that they're continuing to give players who don't mythic raid something interesting to do. I wish they'd make 10 man versions of mythic raids. But making heroic raids more difficult works too.

Yea, tyrannical does make it quite a bit harder though. most of the 'easy' dungeons have some really tough bosses. Sanguine/volcanic/fortified is probably easier to push very high with

There were 10 man versions of mythic raids. It was a shitshow to balance so thats why they stopped doing that. It's for the better. Now they can dedicate all their time to make it the best experience possible for 20 man (and end up with something like EN lul) instead of doing half assed bosses where 10 man is easier than half assed bosses where 25 man is easier.

And Overflow is a bitch for holy priests and palas.

I think it's meant to be like HC TOV = Mythic EN. Helya H is extremely difficult in 865 gear (where mythic EN was cleared) and i'd love to see some guys trying it with 845-850 gear

They're buffing the ilvl of the TOV gear rewards by 5, also raising legendaries by 15ilvls on the weekly reset; that should affect gear on your character and in bags AFAIK. Glad that i took two very minor upgrades from Helya now

Been trying for 2 weeks now to get some m+ or Nighbane runs with the guild, nothing. Everyone has their own little group sorted and everyone else who is not in one has too much stuff to do IRL beside raid. I'm close to calling it done with the game for now. What's the point of a guild if you have to pug?
