The Snake, Ken Stabler is dead. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13230192/ken-stabler-former-oakland-raiders-quarterback-dies wish i could've been alive to witness a team that developed a rabid fan base for getting the most 15 yard personal foul penalties.

i do not see how they can keep Brady's suspension at 4 games. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25238471/nfl-reduces-greg-hardys-suspension-from-10-to-4-games

Ray Rice had a two game suspension for essentially the same offense until video came out of it. Hardy didn't play at all last year and was hit with 10 games this year before the appeal. Brady will miss some time. probably not 4 games but 1-2 seems most likely.

This explains it far better then I can. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-nfl-should-expand-to-london-but-first-canada-mexico-and-la/ umm that was November 2014... its outdated. it says nothing about the fact that there is NO STADIUM and NO OWNER. Since November 2014: 1) the ROgers Centre is being converted to Baseball Only 2) Buffalo canceled the Torotno series and Roger Communications wants nothing to do with an NFL team in Toronto. It does not discuss the fact that teh NFL has a giant US National TV Deal unlike anything the NBA and MLB have. US Owners are unwilling to share 1/34th of that deal with a Canadian team which will bring exactly zero new viewers to Fox, NBC, and CBS. YOu'll notice the games are all simulcast on Canadian networks with Canadians ads overlayed. No US owner will want to share their US TV Deal with a Canadian team and justifiably so. Toronto has been a bigger media market than 20+ NFL teams since 1977 when Paul Godfrey announced he'd get an NFL team right after he brought the baseball team to town. We're going on 40 years now. Bob McCown in 1977 stated that Toronto would never get a team mainly due to teh natioanl US TV deal the NFL has. After 40 years of the NFL using Toronto as a threat to other US Citires i'm inclined to go with McCown and call bullshit on all the PR the NFL does about how much they are thinking of Toronto. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_McCown If the NFL wanted a piece of the #1 media market in Canada like they've been saying for the past 40 years.... they already woulda done it... Instead they're making out like bandits in London England.

The NFL is trying to put less choice in the punishments- which basically means throwing the book at them on the first time, but that is only a band-aid. What are they going to do when there's a report of something but no hard evidence? The situation is untenable because NFL is being expected to act like some sort of judiciary, which it isn't, yet it's supposed to not require the same level of proof. It's this really milquetoast compulsion that we all have to publicly profess the right positions, no matter how pointless it is.

As of July 2014 the Bills in Toronto series was still going and was suspended for 1 year. Here is the notice of suspension of the series for one year... it even says those exact words in their press release. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/football/buffalo-bills-suspend-toronto-games-for-2014-season/article17312009/ The Bills In Toronto series was then cancelled on December 3, 2014 after the outdated article you posted...which was November 2014 Here is the December 3rd , 2014 announcement of the cancellation of the series. http://news.nationalpost.com/sports/nfl/buffalo-bills-reach-agreement-with-rogers-to-cancel-toronto-series Roger Communications committed to baseball only once they knew teh Buffalo Bills and Toronto Argonauts would no longer be playing there... which again was after December 3, 2014. upon further research, the NFL has actually been using Toronto as a bargaining threat against other cities since even before 1977. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Football_League_in_Toronto On July 12 2015 06:55 JimmiC wrote: What's frustrating is how you treat your opinions like facts. this is what i said "After 40 years of the NFL using Toronto as a threat to other US Citires i'm inclined to go with McCown and call bullshit on all the PR the NFL does about how much they are thinking of Toronto." clearly.. that is an opinion. i don't like that the NFL is always trying to scare Buffalo by using the Toronto card.. its slimey.. the americans i meet at the bills games are so cool and Bills games are so much fun. What are they going to do when there's a report of something but no hard evidence? you do realize that in the Hardy case he was found guilty by a judge in July 2014 and then the case got dropped after an appeal because the victim refused to co-operate. there was evidence proving Hardy broke the law. now, when u have a brand new allegation it does seem like many expect the NFL to have god like knowledge and are waiting to pounce the minute any decision does not break their way.

I mean it took them how long to make up a penalty system for something that has happened a ton of times? If the PA wasn't so useless they'd look at the indefinite suspension stuff too.
