There're no difference between that and normal queue. I still play with/against people with the same MMR, people still rage/do stupid stuff like in normal queue. not gaining xp is not that big of a deal. | ||

 Also for those wondering, Aui doesn't stream anymore because he changed net and he now gets packet loss and lag in-game while streaming (although his stream works apparently, maybe QoS issues?) | ||

First question is: is there anything I can do against that? I'd really like to up my ranking a bit because I'm sure people don't play like that at higher levels. And secondly, is there a hero I can pick quickly that's pretty descent no matter what my allies chose and that I will be able to make the most off ? (I've already seen the Lycan thread and it's good but I'd like other suggestions). Heroes I usually play: Luna, weaver, prophet, enchantress, CM, shadow shaman. | ||

Be aware that there are morons who do garbage stuff for the next 3000 mmr (no kidding 5500 people do shit like naga mid that will make you mad even though they are insanely good at dota) so you aren't getting above it lol. Don't forget that for each time your team sucks and has awful picks, your enemies will at some point be the same way. If getting on the mic and trying to organize a smart draft doesn't work, then its pretty safe to say your opponents aren't gonna be doing much smart either. Realistically, at 2500 mmr work on stuff like lasthitting as a carry/mid player, pulling and smoke-ganking as a support, and in general just being more efficient than your enemies (who obviously are pretty awful considering they are around 2500MMR). I know a lot of people like to play heroes like furion (and lycan as you mentioned) at that level and simply out-farm the enemy. | ||

My most reliable hero for wins has always been CM. Especially at low levels, just carrying a TP and counterganking makes a massive difference, and there's never a time where you've got nothing to do, as CM can roam / woods / babysit all very easily. AND your mana aura helps circumvent the problems that would normally arise for people with shitty builds and constantly no mana. | ||
