b's are my pick, but price is definitely good enough to win games on his own with only a little goal support.
I don't think it is that "sure" that B's(for bitches) have that much of an edge team wise and system wise. What therrien did with this team is almost as impressive as what Roy did with colorado. as for the team, our goalie is better point blank, our defense is one of the best in the league with subban markov and emelin, lastly we have 3 excellent scoring units.
that said of course boston bitches have been solid for a good amount of time now. i just dont see mtl out of this as of yet, moreso after seeing their level of play against tampa and they had plenty of time ahead to prepare after their 4-0.
its gonna be a close one, maybe the most interesting series of the playoffs. let's hope boston plays clean, and lets hope we see tukka trying to break his stick and fail again
Boston is built to win a multi game series. Built to win in the playoffs. They are going to dissect a Canadiens team in game one that has no energy due to so much time off and then just carry out the execution over 3 or 4 more games.
I was talking with a friend at work and I said that if Boston was in the west they would be a top seed, just with maybe a few less points from getting to beat up on Eastern Conference food.

I agree. Hasnt he been nominated for the Vezina too?

man cbj just totally shitting the bed. they got handed a pp after vitale may or may not have slipped a knee of comeau and theyre just getting worked hard.
e: only 21 sog i think with 14 to go in the third. you cant have that shit in an elimination game, even if the pitt d actually looks good today.
Epic collapse possible. All came from that one power play where Pittsburgh just sat back and played totally conservatively and let themselves get pressed in their own zone to give up the first goal.
Rask has always been an angry goalie. It is common knowledge that most goalies aren't quite 'right' in the head. You should see his highlight when he played for the providence team. Putting it into perspective, most people would consider you insane to try and block a puck that is flying at you over 100 mph. I like Rask because he plays with intensity and leaves it out on the ice.
I watched 24 CH for the Canadiens, I saw Price smash his stick in the locker room last episode. Mind you he is very calm, cool, and collected. Different demeanours, both great goalies. Everyone has to vent some way or the other. I also watched Behind the B's and that is the power of media. They can skew your view of players to whatever sort of message they are trying to illustrate.
My favourite goalies in the NHL as of this moment are in this order and reason
1. Quick (his style is probably one of the most entertaining to watch) 2. King Henrik (how does one not have a man crush on this fine specimen?) 3. Luongo (mad respect for him, gold for Canada and toughing it out with Gillis) 4. Price (I was a huge fan during the world juniors shoot out against US) 5. Rask (gotta love his story, traded from the leafs for raycroft, stuck it out as a back up for sometime behind timmy T despite having better sv %)
7 Games Bs vs Habs. Subban will wake up Krejci with his antics. Habs look good, Bruins have the resume and repretoire. Can't wait for this classic matchup.

That's just great. Price better than Rask? As good as Rask is in the regular season, he's even better when it counts. Habs are in for a short and painful ride.
