Bernier will calm the team down when he comes back because of his ability to control the area around his crease better than Reimer. 2 symptoms.. bell run and headache = concussion... only 1 required to diagnose a concussion. the scarey part is how light the hit was. that is all it takes to concuss the guy? Reimer is 1 or 2 head shots away from being in Pat Lafountaine/Eric Lindros territory. | ||

Even if the Leafs made the playoffs, their d is so ridiculously porous that they dont really stand a chance in a best of 7 vs any decent team. They need to tighten up the backend before they can get to the next level. The next level being to have a non shitty eastern conference team. I really like Bostons chances though. Theyre similar to top tier western teams without all the travel and timezone fuss. And they have a rejuvenated Iginla playing like theres no tomorrow. The only downside I see for Boston is that Rask played a lot in the Olympics and might be tired at the end of the season. Just hope they draw Mtl in the first round, crush them to a blue white and red paste and get that monkey off their backs lol. | ||
