There is an image floating around of her yearbook. Roy Moore signed it "Love Roy Moore, DA" after saying in the body of the note that she was a "beautiful girl." Can't make this shit up.

Coupled with his admission of hanging out with high schoolers and the creepy accounts from people who knew him saying he would hang out at HS football games looking for girls in his 30s, as well as his lukewarm defense of "i don't remember... I don't think I'd do that," leave me confident saying he is guilty as hell.

Think that might be a first for a major political party. I will give the national Republicans some credit for responding appropriately.

Would say a lot about the voters if the guy who is preemptively kicked out still wins the fucking election.

I will be very impressed if they hold a non-binding resolution before the election takes place just to send a message to Moore. I doubt it will happen, but its 2017 ya all. Shit is crazy.

it says alot about the voters even if he only gets 40% of the vote.
it's also easy for them to talk about kicking him out when they don't like him anyways and another R would replace him, and it's so late in the process that it's an easy stand to take. it's also only saying they should, it's not actually doing it, which they'll probably never have to actually try to do.

It took 70 years, but the European Union finally signed a pact today (Nov. 13) agreeing to integrate military funding, weapons development, and deployment of European defenses. In a way, creating a unified mega army.
US president’s Donald Trump’s frequent accusations that EU countries do not pay enough into NATO has been one catalyst for them move forward with a unified plan for military cooperation. The other is that it could legitimately diminish the bloc’s dependence on US military support.
EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini, called the pact “historic” as “the real problem is not how much we spend, it is the fact we spend in a fragmented manner.” She also said it would strengthen the work of the US-led Nato.
The UK had always resisted the idea of joint EU defense, fearing some kind of big “European army,” but the country’s planned exit from the bloc has removed that hurdle, allowing 23 other EU countries to move forward. Once Brexit happens, the UK could still possibly be involved, but for a price.
The group will have a €5 billion ($5.8 billion) European Defense Fund to buy weapons, a different fund for operations, and also get money from the EU budget for research. In the end, it means that the EU would have stronger, better synchronized national military forces to respond to crises together. German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel called it a “milestone in European development.”
Co-development of weapons could be good news for European defense companies. “I think it is a potential game-changer,” Haman Buskhe, the CEO of Swedish defense company Saab told the Wall Street Journal (paywall). “This could develop new products and help increase efficiency in Europe.”
The next step will be for EU leaders to sign the legally binding agreement in December.

Yea well the glorification of the US and Capitalism has taught people to be selfish because everyone should be/are selfish. So people really don't give a fuck about things like that and just say "them's the breaks I was lucky that time"

This appears to be based on a fundamental misunderstanding of capitalism. Capitalism is how we entice selfish people to contribute to the rest of society.

Capitalism is how selfish people provide moral justification for the accumulation of wealth at the expense of society.

Why is wealth accumulation by default at the expense of society? Theoretically we are freely exchanging goods (or labour in order to get goods) that we have a surplus and couldn't use anyways. If we are generating wealth and I get what I want and you get what you want in an exchange that we are reasonably happy why would that be at the expense of each other?

What planet is this happening on?

Right here, right now. It's called job specialization. I work at a particular job, but I can't be bothered to fix my own car, so I pay someone else to do so. I gain because I don't have time to learn to fix my car (not have I invested in all the tools needed), and so I benefit from his labour. I'm salaried, so my potential earnings is limited unless I hustle on the side. But if that mechanic does well and is able to hire a bunch of journeymen mechanics and/or apprentices and double the income that I make, hell if he makes ten times what I make, I still haven't lost anything. I still get my car fixed, freeing up my time to do something else. And he gets my money, plus a bunch of other customer's money. And the journeymen mechanics are gainfully employed and may well strike out on their own if they are sufficiently enterprising. There's no loss to me, if I get what I want for a reasonable price, and they got rich. I got what I wanted, and I can focus my labour elsewhere.

It's all very nice looking at the relationship between two laborers, but how about the relationship between you and your employer? If your employer starts giving you 10 more hours of work a week with no compensation, that's fine because value is still being created? I'd call that your employer generating value at your expense.

A vote for a preemptively kicked out person is basically a vote for a wild card R of the governor's choosing in Alabama so if anything it improves his chances of a victory, oddly enough. No chance of having a D or a criminal in office.

Also entirely predictable. Hannity was having Assange on his show a few months ago. Hannity/FOX was laying the groundwork for the Trumpkin transition to being pro-Wikileaks. Had to get the proles in line before the news came out.

"WikiLeaks made a series of increasingly bold requests, including asking for Trump’s tax returns, urging the Trump campaign on Election Day to reject the results of the election as rigged, and requesting that the president-elect tell Australia to appoint Julian Assange ambassador to the United States."

Why in God's name would that be of any benefit to wikileaks? Oh, right, it wouldn't be. The whole sowing chaos thing was more of Russia's goal. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

At the end of the day, Russia's only goal is American chaos. Lack of American cohesion is the only way Russia is able to muster any sense of modern day relevance.

Seriously, this article is crazy-crazy.

Like, WTF are we still doing here? We're so past the point of reasonable impeachment. WikiLeaks, even if you're naive enough to think they're not doing Russia's bidding here, is not an American organization.

A foreign organization is telling the Trump campaign to convince its people, American citizens, to disregard election results. And what did Trump's campaign do? How did Trump's campaign react to this foreign-organization's subversive requests? They advertised them. Shortly after Jr's correspondence, Trump starts speaking and tweeting about WikiLeaks regularly.

The timeline of this implicates more than Jr. It was Trump himself that THEN went on a de-facto WikiLeaks Promotion Tour. This is so fucking rotten.
