I'd imagine a fair number of TL members have phones capable of custom ringtones. If you have an interesting ringtone, post it here and elaborate on why you chose it. Basically I want to steal your good ideas.
Please also try to include a legal source to said ringtone if possible.
It took me a while to settle on my current one, but it is:
Reason for picking it - it starts out quietly enough that it will not annoy me or anyone else, it's also not immediately recognizable. After about 10 seconds, it gets louder and more distinct.
And might scare someone into thinking I spend my free time buying up giant sheets of plastic, encouraging them to not bother me at work so much.
(sadly I can't find a non-sketchy site with this ringtone)
I've got the SCBW dropship's "In the pipe, 5x5" as my text message notification. A starcraft sound effect of an Aliens quote for ultimate nerd street-cred.
Obviously the best ringtone ever! Haven't changed it for the 8 years that I've owned a cell phone (though I have changed phones a few times during that time).
This is a stupid thread because people post 2 minute+ songs, so it's annoying to scroll through.
BUTT ANYWAY, does anyone have the Tardis landing sound? I always thought that'd make an awesome ringtone especially if you are around Dr Who fans, watch them freak out.
