"Point Differential", you can search. Here's one from basketball prospectus: http://www.basketballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=2236 Historically speaking, point differential is where it's at when it comes to forecasting the NBA playoff bracket. Related to something like Pythagorean wins. You can see the idea from David Berri on wages of wins blog, and I think Hollinger likes it too [if that means anything, hahaha]. Don't quote me on this, but I read somewhere that point differential is good, head to head is also good, but head-to-head point differential is best. | ||

Pacers issue is they aren't moving the ball around to create a better angle to get the passes in. Just trying to dump the ball into the paint isn't going to work for enough time. | ||
