Firstly, for those who don't know the game, Silkroad Online is an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online RPG) that puts the player deep into ancient Chinese, Islamic, and European civilizations. The Silk Road, was in short, a major cultural and economic trading gateway. Roads connected between ancient Asia and Europe that have disappeared into the forgotten history of glory and adventure.

Player-from feedback:Reaching the maxim lvl its easy,in 2-3 days you should be able to do it yourself,without the help of someone else. After this comes the hard pard: you will need to get good items and upgrade them even more.All summed up, i find it funny to play on this server because we do a lot of PvP,job wars,events.
I expect you guys to ask me if you have questions about this. I will try to be as nice as possible:D.

Why Silkroad of all MMOs? I think I remember trying it...but it was not very fun. What are some features in the game that make you still play it?

Played silkroad YEARS ago, don't want to touch it again lol, was good in its time though.

silkroad was an exceptional game during its time.a very loose "class" sytem, the cool trading with thiefs, the uniques running around and all that.
its biggest prob was that it was a pure evil asian grinder with zero quests outside of "kill 3000 evil flowers" followed up with "kill 6000 evil flowers" quests. and that was around lvl ~25-30 already.
can imagine it to be fun with the very high gains but no time between bf3,dota2,dcss and like 4 sp games i should finish. ~~

Well, I played many mmorpgs since i own an internet connection. From all of them ,the most i played wow and sro(silkroad online). And even if i had times when i was bored of them, i always restarted because of the memories of how funny it was. Why would you chose SRO from all the games? Well, lemme tell why I did it: I like all those lights that show up when you attack someone,the combat moves .. and the jobsystem(thiefs vs hunters +traders).I played many kinds of sro servers in all those years but i mostly enjoyed job-based ones, like redster.Why the job-based servers? cuz i get to have all those amazing fights to protect or steal a caravan's goods(or ,atleast, this is the main plot).Indeed, now the server is not verry populated, but thats what I am trying to do here: more players = more fun.
Ofcourse, there are many other games with shitload of glows and combat moves (cabal,shaiya,etc) but I always preffered SRO.
for the last reply: indeed, with low rates,it gets boring, but our server have some balanced rates and you get to almost skip the boring parts of lvling.
