I think the main reason why there are not many of them is the way to get there.
There are many random master players but over 90% of them dont understand the game at all. They just learn 1-2 allins for each matchup and that's it. Most of them go blind eco-cheese so it looks they are able to play lategame.
And the rest of 10% solid good random master players are just a to small base to get many pros out of this pool.

Wrong, wrong and wrong. Most random player does not like being burdened by a single race, with restrictions. Therefore, it's just a form of race changing.
Show me which random player eco-cheese.
