Reading the rest of the comments you've left in this thread, anyone with a Christian background should probably be offended that you purport to represent them.

I agree that my posts in the gay thread were a bit out of line, but it's because I have a christian back ground and I like to voice my opinion on those type of issues. I won't be in gay threads any time soon though, because I realize I was out of line myself.

Now, with my previous thread. I was seconds away from posting studies that link blacks with violence until it got closed. I really don't believe that "This thread isn't going to go anywhere" is a good response, because their actually might be a great discussion that might arise. I think that close was completely unjust imo.

Ok so you come here, and bash on people who are gay, and people who are black...Yeah it really seems like you are being OVER moderated. Oh and the only threads you made were simply to ask someone to help you with homework, which you tried to hide by saying it was a universal homework thread. Seriously, based on all those crappy posts, what leads you to believe an injustice is being done?

I never bashed gay people though, and I never bashed black people. There was no "bashing" in my threads. Maybe it's my tone? I'm not sure. But I definitively wasn't "bashing" anyone.

LOL, the quotes from Zeal seem to show otherwise.

I've never bashed gay people on this website. Sorry for not making it clear.

Is this not a fact? I just thought that you guys would get bored of reading over the 100 other ones I read and wanted to post. There is no denying blacks are less prone to violence. And I was about to answer the "lower money = more crime" posts, but the thread got closed. Some of those black families are even better off then me, so that's why I wanted to know what makes them tick.

Why? I posted a study, a video, and personal experience.. that didn't sound too bad to me.

It is the basic assumption in your posts that that blacks are different (not to PC the place but african american is better). You clearly were not looking for an explanation. You chose a random stat from more than 15 years ago that doesn't prove that as a community they are somehow different. Saying "Some families are even better off then me" is anecdotal and means sweet fuck all.

You know this is a sensitive topic and yet you blatantly showed no sensitivity at all. Why should we respect your post if you don't respect the topic.

I honestly don't understand why this would be a sensitive topic? From what I understand blacks get everything from scholarships to housing handed to them..?

seems like your bashing gay people to me. Its pretty hard to blatently lie when someone can just check your post history yo.

Again. I never posted " I HATE GAY PEOPLE AND I HOPE THEY ALL DIE " on this actual website. Sure I've said some bad stuff about gay people in real life, but that has nothing to do with how I'll act on this forum.

And this is not mean to be racist by any means, if their is something that sounds racist, I really want this to be a civilized discussion.

Don't lie. You knew this might sound racist. You sound like a spoilt child. Why is this an issue for you anyway? Your viewpoint is so paternalistic it is sickening.

"Black people can't help themselves so me and my mum are going to put together a support group to help them". Can you not see how insulting that it is? There is a difference between genuinely trying to learn about something and just using that as an excuse to piss on people.

This right here shows you know dick all about what you're talking about. Maybe you should get an education before holding strongly held beliefs.

If you really wanted to learn about something about race vs violence, a simple google of "poverty crime black" turns up a shit ton of information. That is, if you actually wanted to learn something and not bash whatever group you deem to be inferior to you in an effort to make you feel better about yourself.

saying bad stuff about gay people in this forum based upon your recent post history begs to differ. i see many evidence here showing that you enjoy to attack gay people. is this not bashing? what do you call bashing then? please id like to understand your mindset.

That's the thing. I never directly called people out on being gay on this website. If I found a gay person on this site, I wouldn't say anything to him. What I do in real life should not be factored in on this website.

The only threads it's looked like you've opened have been two asking for homework help, and "Black people in the U.S. more prone to violence?", which included statistics that didn't really support your point at all, and followed by a non-sequitur about "young black men and women are throwing their lives away", which sounded pretty discriminatory and condescending.

Also, it doesn't invite great discussion because it opens the doors to all sorts of racist comments and generalizations, which would probably just turn it into a giant ban-trap. Similar reasoning to why threads involving religion get closed most of the time.

So we should just close the thread because their are going to be some rotten apples?

It's not only about a few bad apples. Your entire OP was flawed in a way that would seriously derail any possible discussion that could take place right from the start.

Firstly, you provide statistics that don't really show anything, just that several years ago, blacks made up the highest number of arrests. This has no correlation to violence, because arrests don't show that a person committed a violent act, just that they were arrested. This also doesn't take any socioeconomic reasons into consideration either, even if blacks did statistically commit more crimes than other racial groups in the US. You're drawing your own reasoning from the numbers to support a flawed conclusion, namely that blacks commit more violent crimes because they are black.

Secondly and most fatally (Though this ties into point #1 as well), you make huge general statements about an entire race. You go from more blacks were arrested for violent crimes, to "I want to know team liquids opinions on why this is occurring, and why so many young black men and women are throwing their lives away?". It doesn't follow. You're using anecdotal evidence and extrapolating that to an entire race while using irrelevant statistics to support it as "fact".

Also, "If I could find the route of the problem I might start a support group, because it honestly makes me AND my parents sad that so many people who have the whole world ahead of them are throwing their lives away?" just sounds condescending to an entire race of people.

You're not trying to make an objective OP about a subject, you're making an OP based on personal bias and belief rife with generalization. It doesn't make for good discussion.

It is the basic assumption in your posts that that blacks are different (not to PC the place but african american is better). You clearly were not looking for an explanation. Huh?? I just posted those quotes from TL...yes...this actual website. Also, you just fully admitted to being harsher IRL than you have been on this forum. Go figure.

So what if I am IRL? That's IRL. Not on this site. IT shouldn't effect the quality of this site at all.

Except you are who you are IRL. If you bash gay people in IRL it shows on the forums, we have quotes of it showing on the forums and that is when it becomes an issue to people on the forums.
Some people hurt people. I defenestrate those people.

Maybe spend a little bit more time putting together effective arguments and leave the personal attacks, broad generalizations, and insulting condescending tones out of them and your threads will not be auto shut down.

From what I understand blacks get everything from scholarships to housing handed to them..?

so then what do you call this?

"

"gays can be made fun of all they want as long as they have the right to be gay. wanna now why? because this is america. not pakistan or russia.ive made fun of a gay guy at work everday for the past 4 months and im not stopping anytime soon. I could honestly care less about some nancy boys feelings"

seems like your bashing gay people to me.

Huh?? I just posted those quotes from TL...yes...this actual website. Also, you just fully admitted to being harsher IRL than you have been on this forum. Go figure.

So what if I am IRL? That's IRL. Not on this site. IT shouldn't effect the quality of this site at all.

As a Christian, I'd like to note that the ignorance in those posts of yours besmirch the reputation of all actual Christians in the world. No real Christian would say "they should just insult gay people."

Furthermore, your post concerning racial crime statistics is woefully ignorant. You clearly lack any understanding about legal injustices, socioeconomic inequities, and institutionalized racism in history, and I'm not going to bother trying to explain when you can't even recognize the basic fact in how silly your posts are in the first place.

I'm having a really hard time believing that this isn't some troll account.

Wait... WE ARE THE TROLLS??? Are you kidding me? Hey, none of us are the ones being racist to blacks or gays. And for that matter, if anything mods need to get moderation into your head.

P.S. You aren't allowed to tell the mods what to do btw. Mods are there to do their job, not to let people like you tell them. I experienced that first hand actually.
