Just curious about this. From viewing crowds in places like MLG it seems to me that the average player is in their 20's or so. I searched the forums for average age and didn't see anything recent that had a poll involved so I thought I might throw this out there...

The age gaps are pretty big considering almost everyone will probably be in the 15-25 range, right between two groups.

Is quite similar, as i guess most people on tl play sc2.
Since you are polling tl members, you are probably only going to get the more competitive/mature players anyway. very few younger players/bronze leaguers are on tl compared to the number of dedicated gamers, so i expect very few of the 12-14 year old bronze/silver players who don't use hotkeys to ome across this, while alot of 16-22 year old highschool/college students who take the game more seriously are gonna vote.

well I can't do a poll ingame  best I can do. I thought about smaller gaps but for some reason went with bigger. I could change that if enough thought it should be otherwise

For mlg, i think it's mostly between 20-29
but in bnet it looks like most of the players are under 12 by their immaturity

the biggest issue with finding out the average age is that, the majority of younger players (lets say 10-14), id very few of them know of TL.
