Since this whole topic degenerated into the usual balance flamefest where every topic ends up if unmoderated it's time for it to clean up. Locking this down for a while. Any posts made after my post [page 233] not addressing the changes in this patch directly and containting flames or general balance whine will get banned for at least a week. ~Nyovne

nerfing the rax build time seems drastic. your talking about altering the entire terran game. might as well have the terran spawn 5 seconds later than his opponent. basically everything is delayed, rax factory, starport, orbital you name it. also im pretty sure every zerg can now hatch first on any map without any risk. imagine the outrage if they made the spawning pool take longer. i would rather blizzard buff units that need it like the carrier rather than nerf units that players are finding use for like the hellion

I would of loved seeing IdrA's face while he was reading the word infestor in the balance changes.
EMP still needs to be tweaked I guess.

increase 30s blink research time is too much
It will make Protoss is hard to counter Terran drop in mid game.

I agree 100%, I used to enjoy TvT when it was marine/tank, but not anymore because of stupid mech. Hopefully, the hellion nerf will bring back marine/tank in TvT, which I think was a lot more fun that mech.

BTW, good luck in your games today! I might watch, if I want to stay up till 2:30...

interesting, I know the increase to blink timing is primarily because of PvZ but its going to have much more serious ramifications in PvP I think. Especially considering Immortals with 6 range. This means everyone will most likely going robo with chargelots and archons? unless they scout air?

ill prob still go blue flame hellion =] , but tvt was a dick ive been going defensive bfh or reapers against offensive hellion drops, approve this change, kinda hate barracks build time tho, never had a thing for heavy 2 rax aggression

The infestor barely lost damage and gained more against Armored, it's a perfect little adjustment, loving it! Hellions will still own worker lines, not a huge problem at all, a damage upgrade is always worth it fo sho!

As a Protoss player, I just wish there was a direct change towards 1/1/1. The ultralisk buildtime is a nice change, but maybe too fast. I like the fungal change, too, but still hate that it's a snare and not a slow. The other changes are good. Blink nerf hurts, but isn't that big a deal; opening blinkstalker against Terran nogas-FE won't be as strong as it used to, and robo/phoenix openings will be much more safe in PvP...it doesn't change much else.

Ya because the spawning pool doesn't need to be nerfed. This sucks for Terran but having your early aggression hurt is not the end of the world...

i am sorry but the immortal range buff and the 5 sec delay is not that much of a nerf to 1-1-1
1 more range on the immortals wouldn't hurt, but it wont solve this that easily :/
