Since this whole topic degenerated into the usual balance flamefest where every topic ends up if unmoderated it's time for it to clean up. Locking this down for a while. Any posts made after my post [page 233] not addressing the changes in this patch directly and containting flames or general balance whine will get banned for at least a week. ~Nyovne There is way too much flaming in this thread right now. Immortal attack range is interesting, could be good or bad in the long run. Any Mothership buff is great, underused unit. Blink research is another interesting change, not sure if I like it though. Warp prism buff is great. Barracks build time nerf is unnecessary. Blue flame nerf is too severe, 6-7 would be fine. Seeker missile is strange, I guess they're trying to encourage more usage. Infestor nerf should be fine. Overseer costing only 50 gas is much much better, excellent buff. Not sure about the Ultralisk build time buff, could be ok. Overall I'd say 1.4 is a slightly better game, so +1 to Blizzard this time. | ||

Biggest change defenders advantage...unit's shooting up a ramp -1 range. Awesomeness. Barracks build time nerf. Helps toss and Zerg in keep the scout alive a bit longer, and delays a number of build times like the 1-1-1. Blink nerf, will wait and see for that one. | ||

I wouldn't say that helion = reaper, however the upgrade now only makes sense when you have lots of them, which means that its effectively cuts down on Terran early harass options. Seems like an intended change cause of other races lack of harass options to me. This sucks... | ||
