Since this whole topic degenerated into the usual balance flamefest where every topic ends up if unmoderated it's time for it to clean up. Locking this down for a while. Any posts made after my post [page 233] not addressing the changes in this patch directly and containting flames or general balance whine will get banned for at least a week. ~Nyovne There is way too much flaming in this thread right now. in my opinion there are things that should be better dealt with, such as the 3gate stargate and the 1-1-1 all in build, both very strong and the 1-1-1 i can only say simply OP, i wonder why blizz not trying to fix those 2 problems? anyways about the hellion nerf this is not what is needed, since adding another hellion or so is not much of an issue, i think they should twist it somehow, maybe add gas to the hellion or something, since right now they do to much damage for an only mineral unit, also the marine should get weaker in some way, it is just to effective in every situation. about their continuing tries to make 4gate not so absolute in PvP, i think this change will be the nail in the coffin for the 4gate in the higher levels. no matter what how much u try now u cant pass a force field with warp ins ^^ and with immo range of 6 robo will be the standard in PvP, making SG tech more viable, so it will make twilight tech more viable etc.. :D anyways i say: gz blizz, good job on this patch very much like it! | ||

I have nothing to say in regards to the balance of the unit, but I always found it amusing how something with a FLAMETHROWER attached requires 0 gas cost | ||

The Immortal change could have quite an effect. I can think of PvP with one player going for Colossus and Immortals being more useful in big battles, when they are not that easily blocked by stalkers. Everything sounds reasonable, it does not affect the things that i struggle with the most, but that is a question of playstyle for me. | ||

For anyone that didn't noticed the 1-1-1 fix: Immortal range buff and rax build time increese are both nerfs to 1-1-1 timing attack in TvP. Asside from that i really like Hunter seeker speed buff and buff to shields for warp prism. | ||

How is infestor become weak? The best part about infestor is not just about FG. It's about NP, infested Terran and burrowed too. It could destroyed every unit and building in the game with its spells. I don't see how little nerf effects infestor at all. | ||
