Since this whole topic degenerated into the usual balance flamefest where every topic ends up if unmoderated it's time for it to clean up. Locking this down for a while. Any posts made after my post [page 233] not addressing the changes in this patch directly and containting flames or general balance whine will get banned for at least a week. ~Nyovne

A big issue with Terran is the EMP spell. A good change might be to buff the damage to 150 shields and energy drained (up from 100), but make it that it goes through over the course of 4 seconds, like storm does. That way the Protoss has the *option* to move out of the way, kinda what Terran does, and if not they get punished by it.

Two vikings is all thats needed pretty much. It just gives us a chance to harrass which Terran has been able to do for a long time, except when we warp in we're basically expecting them to die

Can only judge ghost v templar again after a while, the WP buff should help a bunch in that little war too.

I wish EMP was less important. I would rather Protoss AND Terran have more breathing room. If you don't hit the perfect EMP's you die, but if you do Protoss dies. I think that's pretty crappy.

I thought this was weird too, but then I thought about it and I think it has to do with the cost of the overseer being reduced. They probably discovered some contaminate abuse while testing overseers with the new low cost.

Let the warp prism buff happen, protoss want a less riskier drop cause they can't imagine a circumstance where a medivac drop has been shut down. Medivacs could have 10 health and drops would still happen, health isnt the issue its about them not seeing it coming is what makes it effective. Not that many drops actually make it out, 1 warp prism with 4 zealots is 600 minerals vs 400 minerals 100 gas for terran. Sorry you have no minerals all game and are loaded with endless amounts of gas.

Warp prizm can drop photons, gates, stargates, DT shrine and power up those buildings.

And for 200 minerals you can get mobile Pylon, where you can warp DT, stalkers, zealots, etc

I would want to see them make up for the Pre -Igniter nerf with something like:

+2(+3 vs light) So that they would do 10 damage to units that aren't light with the upgrade.

Seems more fair ^^.

Don't get the +5 on the rax really but no biggie i guess.

Seeker missile buff seems nice, it was needed.

Furthermore, I think the Collosi should be removed! (Zorgaz -Terran/AbrA-Random/Zorg-Dota2) Guineapigs <3

that shouldnt matter in the least, furthermore what he's saying is true:

ravens still arent viable.
+5 rax does matter (a lot).
protoss did get heavily buffed.

so... what is your point?

As being a terran, kinda a bias one of the kind, i both love and dislike some of the changes in this patch.

The HSM change is really really really awesome! :D. The hellion nerf seems a little big, but it will nerf the bfh drops, and that i love!!

Also, the new changes to the other races looks awesome. More speshul taktiks with the warp prism buff, hopefully more Sickness play ^^

The immortal is now even more awesome.

I didnt really have problem with infestors as T since that marines are so cheap and ghosts are so awesome, but i see that the nerf will help somewhat in pvz.

Also,
Issuing new orders to charging zealots will cause them to lose the charge buff, imo, this change is pretty huge against bio and a nerf to zealot archon since not all toss' can multitask that much
