I simply think a match is good and I say gg when I is 100% (as in I have five bases and my opponent has no mining and I just defeated his army) How is saying good game constitute as bad manners... If I say it then lose well i look like an idiot but if it really was gg I just don't get it(and I've never said it and lost, this isn't about saying gg prematurely but when the game is over for sure) | ||

its better for them to admit defeat before you tell them that they have lost. However close a game may be to over it is never over until your opponent leaves the game. | ||

I understand that most of the time, people aren't being BM, and I try to stifle my anger and not do anything stupid. I've just listed the thoughts that come to mind when someone GG's "for me", but I often act as if they didn't do anything wrong, GG, and then leave. | ||

"gg" is like saying "good day" when making a formal exit. It would be rude to tell someone "bye" before they were ready to leave (as if rushing a guest out the door). If you want to let your opponent know you thought it was actually a good game, say so (you're up 5 bases to 0 mining and just beat his army, you can afford to actually type "good game"). | ||
