Zerg FTW. Pros, destroying terran and protoss with better skill and tactics.
Cons: ZvZ, protoss, blue flame hellions, and obscure terran siege tank timing attacks.

dont switch races now, wait for zerg to actually get good. (were almost there though! so keep your hopes up.) but if you do switch, just remember to scout a lot.

dont buy into the bullshit of everyone saying "you will feel more satisfied winning because you are playing the hardest race" or cons of "you play the weakest race".. those are just major trolls.
The main benefit of zerg, is you almost ALWAYS will have map control. If you like dictating how the game is played, zerg is the race to play. The other two races have to play defensive until they are 200/200, thats the only time they can really move out, while zerg has the whole earlygame to expand and harass. Thats all zerg is really, you have to expand and harass enough to gain an advantage to survive the lategame.
And thats how you really play zerg.. If you sit in your base and get 125 drones then complain why your army of only roaches gets run over by a 200/200 protoss you let build up uncontested, you deserve to lose. Zerg has to be played AGGRESSIVELY, not defensively. dont even bother if you are a defensive player, you'll just end up a whiny nerd like most people.

Zerg can also work out well for people who have a hard time keeping their money low... if you can keep up larva injects, make a shitload of overlords then spam 100 units in 3 seconds XD

There is some degree of truth to "zerg wins = more satisfaction." Map control only belongs to zerg while both players are on tier2 tech (mutas ZvT and roach ball ZvP), and lasts maybe 5 minutes. Once T or P is safely on 3 bases, they have map control just by moving out.
Obviously, you can never win if you just sit in your base, but playing Z too aggressively is just asking to be killed. Positioning matters a lot more for T and P when their armies are out in the open, but always being aggressive with your army as Z is essentially suicide. You have to wait for your higher base count / worker saturation to kick in and macro the hell out of your opponent. Z units are all incredibly squishy.

Biggest plus to me is that all of your production comes out of 1 hotkey(hatchery), so you don't need to worry about getting the right amount of production buildings at the right time.
Biggest minus to me is the Queen/Creep management. You need to have Injects and Creep Spread carved into your brain or you will end up behind.

somebody's been watching Spanishiwa games :D

What I believe is that a decently high APM (100+) is pretty much required to be REALLY good with Zerg...which doesn't really apply for you right now, but if you do start moving up, make sure you have the capability to multi-task well/macro effectively.
Just give both of them more of a shot and go with what you feel comfortable with...but it will be really frustrating as Z, just tell you.

Kinda interesting, when i was playing terran, i was barely at 50%. Then i switched to zerg like 2 weeks ago and i've gone 17-4 since.

(:

A fan to Idra: "You're so awesome! I started playing Zerg because of you!"
Idra's reply: "I'm sorry."
:p ..but jokes aside if you think Zerg fits your play style preference than go ahead and pick them. Yeah the race is very vulnerable to some things (early air cheese for #1 most annoying thing to deal with), but success/potential pro-level imbalance probably shouldn't determine how you play Starcraft. Personally I just feel too claustrophobic playing Terran and Protoss in SC2 even if its less frustrating sometimes.

just like PvP =P I think you should play zerg, the swarm style is so fun!

Are you being serious? Zerg is a reactionary race. Suiciding your army into the opponents natural is a good way to lose.

Con: Lots of frustration. You will lose despite playing better than your opponent simply because Zerg is the hardest race to play mechanically. Making mistakes as Zerg have far bigger consequences than the other races. Really, you can play better than someone and lose? Must mean you didn't play better than him. I had a zerg say that to me. I looked at the replay, had more miners than him the whole game, engaged him in a choke and laid down good forcefields.
