As far as suggestions for games, you mentioned Battlefield 2, but I'd try out Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and its expansion, Vietnam. You could just join a squad together and go own peoples' faces. He's a pretty cool guy, that's for sure. =P He has BC2, maybe i'll grab it too~ I was thinking of getting Black Ops, but idk. [...]
My honest opinion is that BO isn't worth it. I admit I'm an FPS snob, but the maps aren't that fun, the guns aren't that cool, and just in general I didn't enjoy it.
I love BC2, though. Like, a lot.

Nice story, turns out having a casual discussion on cameras could lead to a relationship.
Black OPs isn't really worth the money, like LazyMacro said, it's just another generic FPS that's in the Call of Duty series.

I was thinking the same lol, I would have just bought the game straight up, he got lucky that you chose to use it to buy sc2 because i'd buy the game because that gives you the excuse to play all the time with them xD.
As for other games to play, try LoL, because you know what they say, if a guy talks to you mid game in dota, it means he really loves you.
The game is terribly addicting though because its like a slowed down simplistic version of dota. Pretty glad I was able to quit but I think it'd be a good game for you guys to dabble in to.
