As for other games to play, try LoL, because you know what they say, if a guy talks to you mid game in dota, it means he really loves you. The game is terribly addicting though because its like a slowed down simplistic version of dota. Pretty glad I was able to quit but I think it'd be a good game for you guys to dabble in to. LoL ruined my ping on my computer before p_q and I couldn't play Counterstrike. So I uninstalled right away and cried myself to sleep. True story.
