I want to make the effort and wake up at 5:30 in the morning but at the same time there is a like a 99.9% chance the stream will crash because of the "BoxeR Effect" but as a huge fan of BoxeR and NaDa my pride tells me to wake up and be disappointed anyway

I bought an extra two modems to recieve three times the amount of input data for the Nada v Boxer games. I will be able to view it at a blistering 9 rather than 3 frames per second.
I think gom might need a little bit of extra server back up for this. They're going to burn down once the games start.

Ugh, anyone know of a way to pay for the high quality stream without using pay pal(Funds won't transfer in time) or a credit card(Don't have one)? I have online banking and I really want to pay for this match, it would kill me to watch this is epic game in crappy quality T.T

I believe the LIVE ticket is only for LIVE, but I could be wrong. Honestly its worth just buying the 1+2 Season package, can watch any VODs and than you get a discount for Season 3. The HQ Stream is 10000x better than the free one as well.

I agree. o_O After yesterday's results were not updated, I decided that today I'd make a LR report that I'd make really tidy and update it really quickly and have the polls and so on, yeah. But then someone comes and makes a poor OP like 50 years before the games begin and with TL's first come, first serve principle, this is what we're stuck with.

I do have to second it if he's the one who made the Day 1 of the Ro8. Pretty much sums up everything I have been thinking of GSL threads recently. Seems like people are just trying to create the GSL thread each day before anyone else just for having their name as the thread creator without bothering to follow-up. The most recent GSL thread for RO8 Day 1 did not even get the results updated in the spoiler until much much later. A lot of people are unable to watch it hence they constantly check the thread for results. OP if you want this, you got to go through with it all the way. TL has been known for its quality posts and threads so I hope you live up to it. There are many people such as Shikyo who are keen to put in the effort for the community to enjoy well-detailed and well-structured live updates.

So OP, hope you can change our opinion of you when the games start. Could start with screenshotting the new match order because if I'm not mistaken, GOMTV rescheduled SlayersBoxer vs NaDa from the first to the last. Oh don't forget to change the order in the Results spoiler too. If you feel up to the challenge, you could also make a list of recommended matches which exhibit great micro or strategic play.
If not, ask a mod to delete your thread and give way for Shikyo to make a thread closer to the match time.

There needs to be a greater emphasis on quality over speed when it comes to posts like this.

Because the main stram is probably gonna be down again anyway: is there any way to watch the test stream using vlc like it is possible with the normal one? i have been trying to find a working link in the source-code of the page but so far i havent been succesfull.

Funny thing, I found some old BW vods on my harddrive - they were from when Boxer played Nada in some KT finals. They both look the same now as they did then.

Yes, live = free. However if you look on livestream, you can find users who record the stream so you don't have to wake up at 6am est to see it.

Actually, I would say that MVP vs Zenio was the showcase for a TvZ.
Foxer vs Kyrix showed us how fun watching two super-aggressive players play against each other can be, but not much in the way of the TvZ matchup, overall.

I agree MVP vs Zenio as an overal tvz series was the best but Game 1 of the series for those 2 was up there with all 3 games of epic zvt's of mvp vs zenio. Both showcase how tvz should be played now imo.

Just to add my 2cents on the Boxer vs Nada hype.
While my colleagues and I were wasting our hard earned money on (much too) expensive coffee after lunch, one guy, completely out of the blue, mentions that today the big match between Boxer and Nada takes place. I knew, of course, some didn't, but everybody knew who Boxer and Nada are.
Eventually it turned into a discussion about their influence on the SC scene (with a focus on just how young we were when Boxer showed up in his outrageous space suit outfits) and laughed about Boxer vs Yellow (bunker rushing). We talked about the release of SC2, the impact of it on E-sports, and the BW scene. All in all, we spent a good 30 minutes talking about SC.
Now, this sort of discussion is common place here on TL... but you have to realize this was a discussion between 28~33 year old men, dressed in suits ... working in the finance industry.. while we stood outside smoking with a cup of coffee in our hands.. and it was completely natural.
I hope I'm not giving people the worng impression: SC is still very very much a niche market, you won't find people huddled around the water cooler or coffee machine talking about Nada's tanks or Foxer's marine control. However, I was just surprised at the fact that it is a lot more mainstream than I would have thought.
Anyways.. I'll be working late tonight (of course) but I will have GOM running in the background ^^.

Yes, the difference in quality between the usual BW LR threads and most of the GSL threads is stunning. I think that the same standards should apply here.

I expect Nada to stomp Boxer to be honest. TvT fits Nada's style really well and his play so far has been so so smooth. Only way I see Boxer take games of Nada is by doing something weird/cheesy/genius. In standard play it's Nada all the way baby!
