Claw grip allows for less wrist friction and motion on the mousing surface, I find that it is more conducive to prolonged sessions free from discomfort. Also, Day uses it.

Claw grip feels somewhat more accurate to me. I'm sure different people will have different opinions.

i use the palm grip, simply because it is best for long sessions as your hand doesnt get tired as quickly but also because i use a razer naga and it doesnt really allow for anything else. it's super comfortable but if i switch back to my G5 i'll probably go back to claw grip.

Claw grip with a smaller mouse(i have a G9) is so nice, i feel like i have much more control over the mouse than with other grips.

i can't go up and down with palm grip
how do you do it? do you move your arm?
this has been bugging me for so long.
i feel as if the claw grip gives me the most control and precision, and i use it with the g9 which is a medium-smaller sized mouse. palm grip sounds good for maybe fps but for quick and precise movements the claw grip fits me more

Lmao how can you move easily with Palm Grip? Finger tip grip is mobile and easy!
EDIT: Nothing against the Claw Grip, I feel fingertip and claw are the most common, Palm is more for people new to using the computer.

i guess im closest to claw... but i use the right side of my palm as a sixth contact

APM Boosting is so much easier with finger tip grip.

I use a combination of palm and claw grip my fingers naturally curl back a bit on the mouse buttons when I'm moving the mouse around and use my fingers to get precise little control of the mouse while using my wrist for more broader movements.
It just kind of happened naturally due to years of playing on a mouse.

I have my sensitivity up fairly high so I generally move the mouse purely with my thumb, ring and pinky while my wrist is planted on the desk. I think thats closest to finger tip?

Claw. I hold my mouse almost like you would hold a baseball. I have medium size hands I'd say (I can palm a basketball).
I never found ergonomic mice and palm grip to be comfortable for anything gaming related. Have always used ambidextrous mice like mx300, ms wheel mouse optical, ect.
I mainly see top RTS and FPS players using claw and fingertip grips, however there are plenty of palmers out there too and it really does just come down to what your are comfy with.

Palm grip is the only one that feels natural to me, although I do feel it has some restrictions in the up/down movement. I have been thinking about compensating that with different sensitivities on the X and Y axis, but haven't tried how it feels yet.

palm and claw grips are reminiscent of 400dpi mouses in fpp shooters, btw, you move your whole arm with claw grip just hold mouse differently from palm grip, its not explained clearly on razer page
so anyone who has their wrist planted is using fingertip grip
