For the Warcraft III players out there:
What race did you switch to when you started SC2?
For me, I used to main Orc in War3, in SC2 I thought Terran was the closest thing to Orc in terms of gameplay style (though not unit style - as Protoss would resemble Orc's meaty units).
I chose Terran because of a few features found in SC2 Terran - in SC2 early Reaper harass while attempting to macro up reminds me of Blademaster harass while attempting to creep with your army/second hero, as does Banshee harass. Also Bunkers are similar to Burrows. Terran is also considered by many to be the potentially most powerful race... Orc is undoubtedly the best race in WC3, I have no shame in agreeing with that.

i played human in WC3 and tends to play Terran in SC2.

i played human in WC3 long time ago and now playing toss.

I was an Orc player in WC3 and I play as Terran in SC2. I don't think there is any connection between these 2 races as Orc and Terran have very different playstyles. The closest WC3 race to Terran would be Night Elf due to the reliance on ranged units.

i played orc. zerg now. but i played zerg in sc1. i shoulda went terran. bullshit race ;]

Haven't played War3 seriously for like 4-5 years, but Orc -> Terran

I was Zerg in sc1, so i chose Undead for wc3 because I thought they would be similiar with the creep and what not.
Now in sc2 I went back to Zerg.
