How did you manage to get free overnight shipping? I thought they only offered 3-day or longer for free. | ||

Yes, the digital purchase goes live at 10 AM, meaning that if you download the digital copy and do not have a CD-key from a physical copy to manually activate your account for play, then you must wait until 10 AM for the activation servers related to digital purchases only (meaning purchases off the Blizzard store). However, keep in mind if people are not going to a midnight launch Gamespot and most other electronics/game stores open at 10 AM, so downloading and buying online versus downloading and buying at the store / installing from disk really isn't that different. In short servers for PLAY will be available as soon as midnight-launch people manage to install the game. | ||

Anyway, it will be a few days once SC2 launches for me to join you guys. But somehow I think it will be a blessing in disguise. I expect unexpected problems with the launch similar they had with Beta Phase II. Also, all the beta die-hards will be doing their placement matches. After a few days, my placement matches will be against the non-beta people (hopefully!). The last major launch for Blizzard was with World of Warcraft. I remember it having tons of problems. Blizzard has vowed they do not want a repeat of that experience. But my experience with the Beta hints there will be some sort of issue. Can you imagine people taking work off and the servers are down for days? Oh, I'd be so pissed. | ||

I complained to them a LOT, like they wouldn't let me change my shipping address (i go to college so it changes year to year) they wouldn't let me reset my order as instore pickup (when i ordered, i wasn't sure if i'd be in east coast or west coast or which store i'd go to) etc. They gave me a 20 dollar off next online order coupon that I have yet to use, and after i complained about shipping they originally said it was like 11.50 to get guaranteed day of shipping, i opted for it, but i suppose they havent changed the pricing yet. Nah, Reason they won't let me change shipping is because I ordered a 1 dollar item to get over the 100 dollar limit needed to use my 25% off, and since that already shipped they can't change my address for the CE. Unless I cancelled the order completely and reordered, but then I lose my 25% off. It was complicated and annoying but w/e, as long as i get my CE on release day i'm happy | ||
