And anyway I prefer paying $5 for cross-server than buying a new copy for $60 (and later on $120 for both expansions) wow! never thought such a tatic would work. so i should try it too! You have to give me 120 $ if you want to breathe! ....You dont think so? OK OK ... its only 5$ pm me for bank details ^^ I don't understand why people think you'd have to pay for cross-region play. I don't think Blizzard is really that dumb. your right. many people think this and they NEVER said so. so perhaps it just show what we expect from them after last 4 month.. we should stop it because perhaps they never thought over it before they read it at tl ![]() @all who dont understand why i wrote : BAD NEWS. They say again: "We dont put it in release" thats the news all other is a promise... and by the way: im not sitting on my comp and rage. i just write: oh dam bad news. and people out there calling everyone a bitch and idot who dont like what blizz says... i dont get it. if you dont care for cross or chat why are you reading and posting in the threads?

The fact that they are considering doing it at all is good. I think Blizzard has made some great steps in conceding to our requests, but we aren't the primary market. Try to remember that. As long as the community continue's to demand these features, maybe with a little more tact now that we know Blizzard intends to do it, we will still get them in a timely manner. At a certain point you have to stop complaining about Blizzard when they are trying to meet our demands or you just look like a whiney bitch. Fixed. Does that mean they shouldn't care to implement the MP portion of the game?

It does bother me that we're nearing christmas and there is still no update on a possible upcoming cross realm solution other than buying multiple $60 boxes, having multiple installs, etc. So far I've been using guest passes to play with my friends overseas but that is really a crappy solution. That is one of the things turning me off of Sc2 at the moment: feeling like I'm coerced into buying another copy to play with a fair amount of friends I have overseas, or just find a way to get infinite guest pass codes. I understand buying multiple copies when you are a professional gamer planning to make money off as many tournaments as you can possibly attend, but I am no progamer and I would still very much like to be able to play with people overseas on the internet in 2010 (soon to be 2011). Is it really too much to ask? Is Blizzard still trying to get something done here or what? If anyone has an update on this, I'm all ears. Edit: reason for this post is I was hoping for some kind of news coming along with 1.2 PTR, christmas time etc. and I can't seem to find any announcement or update on that subject ![]() Edit #2: I can't even recommend Sc2 to my gamer friends overseas because the next thing after they buy it is "surprise one of us needs another copy or guest passes lolol"... kinda sad tbh

Maybe they'll surprise us with it later, but that's a pretty bad idea to hold back on it.
