Since 06-02-13 Lee Jaedong has 99 wins (& 27 losses) in his matches vs Zerg progamers.

I know it's possible but it's so grinding that everyone overpredicts for CJ. Yes you have the best team (Well I'd like to say STX is similarly deep but with no super strong ace) but no, you didn't 4-0 Khan. You actually got 4-3'd. =\ I think people chastizing those predicting upsets really need to get some crow pie, CJ's been playing constantly since the start, whereas Lomo has probably been preparing entirely for a TvT snipe for awhile (go figure they're playing Skyhigh on Destination).

Similar points go on, but I'm with Avid and not for any love of Oz. Be stoic in your superiority, emulate CJ! :3

The difference is that you know... Khan actually has some decent players aside from Jangbi and Stork.

Oz has uh... well Jaedong and then nothing even close.

PerfectMan? REALLY!?!?!

Anyway I don't think it'll be a 4-0 for CJ but a 4-2 wouldn't be shocking at all.

But it's also not entirely impossible for a player to suddenly step up. Great did not do well, FBH was terrible, but Miracle came through for Khan.

KHAN, decent players? does not compute.

frozean, fbh, and odin all suck, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were worse than perfectman, killer, and FALCONPUNCH. Oz has Hiya, Lomo, and Backho who are all decent players when they want to be

yeah great point Sunyveil. Lomo's done so much more in his career than FBH. And I'd say Great is a good bit more clutch than Backho is.

uh, lomo has done so much more in his career than fbh? what the hell? lol

they both haven't won anything, and i would have taken fbh during his prime over lomo anyday. too bad they both suck now. i would argue that samsung is a "deeper" team than Oz, considering stork/jangbi/great/miracle is a formidable lineup no matter what. sunyveil seems to think frozean and odin are the next best players after stork and jangbi lol. odin can also play well when he wants to. hiya is pretty good, but lomo and backho lol

Don't fucking diss Backho. Backho is the shit. The only time he'll be GGing is when he rolls whoever he plays and offensive GGs because he's Backho.

Don't underestimate the power of Backho.

That being said, there's a minute chance Backho loses to Snow. Backho does have some good PvP.

Cant beleive im doing this. But my plans are to stay up until 6am when games start to watch. Guess you guys in the US do that all the time ^^

my predictions 2-4
Lomo < Skyhigh (easy one)
Jaedong < Effort (Effort has the edge vs Jaedong in ZvZ. He seems to have studied him hard)
Hiya < Movie (sorry ninja, your gonna loose, again)
Perfectman > Iris (Iris on the roll!! but his TvP will lack today I'm afraid)
Backho > Snow (Backho will be Oz strongest today. he will show some crazy shit)
Killer < Kwanro (Killerkid is gonna get kwanroooooolled by endless lings)

edit: typos, and who the hell is perfectman? and killer. these dudes have some serious nicks to live up to

God. The games haven't even started yet and this thread is huge.

My predictions:
Lomo < SkyHigh
I honestly believe SkyHigh is one of the top 3 TvT players in the world at the moment. That said, Lomo used to be known for having good TvT. Even though it's been sucky lately, don't count him out entirely.
Jaedong > Effort
It's JD vs Zerg, need I say more? Yes, as a matter of fact I do. Effort is also a monster vs Zerg. However, in the wake of getting slaughtered by Calm, my faith that Effort's ZvZ rivals JD's is shaken.
Hiya > Movie
Movie is erratic. PvZ seems to be his best and his PvT seems to be hit-or-miss. I think Hiya will take this.
PerfectMan < Iris
Iris has been a monster lately. But he seems to lose some games he shouldn't (cough, Odin, cough). I still believe though...
BackHo > Snow
BackHo is underrated.
Killer < Kwanro
Kwanro always either Kwanrolls or gets Kwanrowned. Hopefully he'll pull through. Tonight's line-up doesn't look easy for CJ, so he will need to Kwanroll.
Jaedong wins ace.

OZ 4-3 CJ
Even though this Proleague bullshit has been completely bogus, I really, really, really do not see how Khan can lose this. I swear I will kill myself if they do. - nesix before KHAN lost to eNature

yeah guess what FBH SUCKS

he's been a PL player his entire career, save that one MSL round where he got to the semis (and Backho's reached 2 anyway, and who knows what would have happened if he didn't hurt his back)

so in other words he's a watered down, stupid version of sea[shield]

keep in mind that hiya and lomo are much newer players that FBH. That's like saying Rock has accomplished more in his career than Effort, because he has (count OSL qualifications)

great is meh. we have no idea how hwaseung's 'other zergs' are because jaedong just overshadows them all

miracle has like... 6 career wins? the fact that samsung was fielding frozean 12 times this season is pretty lol, they seemed to think he was a viable 4th player

This is looking pretty good for Oz. I predict we are going to see some surprised CJ fans after this series.

Day one is a really, really good day for Oz. They just need to hold to ace for Jaedong to clinch it. Effort stands a greater chance of beating him than anyone else, but Jaedong is still really fearsome, especially since he's had a hell of a lot of time to practice. And while Kwanro seems to be the favourite against Killer, Kwanro's ZvZ is really quite suspect.

Skyhigh, Movie, Iris and Snow HAVE to perform. Here's hoping for CJ to take this match before ace.

Oh yeah and here's a terrible hype video. Don't watch it if you're a CJ fan. It was basically a test to see if I could sync video with music.

The switch from jd to backho in that video made me chuckle a little.
"Wow you could literally transport Lomo's face to a girl and the result would be pretty deceptive."
