I don't understand any of that garbage talk about CJ being one man team. Sure they relied on Effort to win against Samsung but people, just look at the whole season. You want to tell me that Skyhigh, Movie, Kwanro, Iris are shit players?! I'm not even a huge fan of CJ but c'mon, you have to be insane to compare the depth of CJ to depth of Lecaf. So who else except of Jaedong Lecaf/Hwaseung has. Lomo? Wait who?! Lomo?! Backho? What, Backho?! I don't want to say that they are bad players. They are not... But they looked inferior to CJ players throughout the season. One thing that the games between CJ vs Samsung should teach us though, that even theoretically worse players through preparation can be demanding opponents against theoretically stronger players (e.g. Iris vs Odin). So that's the reason the match can be closer than it looks on the paper. We should remember that winning percentages don't play; humans play and they can be outsmarted and you can counter their individual plays. These guys are progamers and none should be underestimated. They all can perform. The thing is that the ones better known perform better than their opponents more often than those who are considered weak players. | ||
