Nine years have passed since the last WCG. There were no international tournaments of such scale since WCG 2010. Moscow 20th Anniversary Lan may come to your mind, of course, but this is just an open lan with European and Korean guests.
2019 will bring you WCG-class tournament rebirth.

There is one Online World Ladder quota for those players not eligible to qualify in either of six regional qualifiers (For example, Australia, New Zealand, Africa or Oceania countries). If you are one of these and you want to test your luck, please register a new account with Corrupted tag on Battle.net Europe server and proceed with you generic ladder matches (example: [Corrupted]Rus_Brain). The best player will get a paid quota for the final event. This qualification will last until July 31, 2019, 24:00 CET. If the name is too long and you can't register that, shorten your name, but keep "Corrupted" part intact. Example: Corrupted-RB.
Corrupted Cup 2019 continuity bonus. I pledge myself to host Corrupted Cup 2020. But that does not mean players will reject a higher prize pool. Please donate @ Matcherino.com.

This is incredible! Brain is someone special for sure. Let's increase that prizepool to 10 000$ so that we can have another one of these next year (like Brain has promised if doubling of prizepool is met). Let's show our love of this game and its gamers. What do we have to lose?
Btw, Corrupted Cup is a funny name in a self deprecating way, but i think it will be a good idea to change it to something with more of a...Herculean quality? Or something simple and professional sounding perhaps. Will you take name suggestions Brain or is it set in stone? Cheers!

The cup is made in Russia, the top-138 CPI, so the name is fair.

Yes, donating is appreciated. It would be a shame if something drastically had to happen to convince to raise some money for the cup.

Damn.. I would absolutely love to see Sziky or Draco come out of the shadows and participate.. but there is a very low chance for that, unfortunately.
This is going to be so good.. can't wait. Hope that coverage won't disappoint, too! NO KOREANS <3 Very good initiative, thank You very much Rus_Brain

Thats just awesome. People might wanna say whatever they think about Brain on a personal level+ Show Spoiler +and a personally find Brain to be a super nice guy , but there is no comparison to his offline tournaments . Just wow.
€: Also the "Quotas" or qualification spots available to the offline event seem pretty good to me. 8 qualification spots for Russia seems a lot, but if you really think hard about the quantity of top gamers we have these days from Russia, it makes a lot of sense actually.
