If spawns were flipped, Flash's units spawn inside the wall for his first Barracks. That's why JD could kill an early Medic.
oh, i forgot! good point.

I figured Flash would 3-0, crazy they're still so close in head to head.
GOGO JD! it'S not that crazy.
look at grubby, he plays wc3 only on weekends and still is in the top 20-30 of w3arena regularly.

Now all I want for last game to be 5 Rax into Mech late game, where JD switches as well into mass Queens later.

One game to Rule them all.

Ofc the hype and everything depends largely on it being Jaedong vs Flash, but that is ok. LETS GO JD!!!!!!!

Thinking about this, it really was weird to lift the baracks. Especially if Flash expected Lurkers. Maybe he wanted to find the lurker eggs? This is the explanation. Also, against a lurker push you want to start as far away from your nat CC as possible, that way the lurkers have to burrow/unburrow more times and you can get free hits on them.
No, Flash scanned hydras with movement I think

Yo that was one of the most insane games I've ever seen.
Jaedong winning that game was like sheer force of will. Hydra/ling vs. 3 barracks academy before engineering bay (with 14cc)? I literally think I've NEVER seen that work out of hundreds and hundreds of ZvTs.

for Jaedong to win!

sc2 viewing experience absolutely pales in comparison to broodwar. Even as someone who plays high level sc2 every day, I find broodwar much more enjoyable to watch. Playing it is also a lot of fun imo, sadly it's just hard to get good games as a casual player.

Soo when did TeamLiquid become TeamJaedong?
Flash fighting!

Makes absolutely no sense why Flash doesn't have 2 bunkers after scanning and SEEING hydras...

Hydras are atrocious vs bio, so if you don't kill them immediately, you die. They are not in small numbers as you could see. Yes it is a BO which depends on dealing damage, but it is not a do or die. Even if FlaSh hold that, he lost many SCVs and he cannot move out directly, because that many Hydras deal quite well against a small number of Marines.
Zerg is making 0 drones and no Lair during that. Flash doesn't win immediately but Jaedong would probably just GG if it failed because he probably knows he's going to get steamrolled in 10 minutes.

Jaedong needs to get a lair+lurker upgrade, doesn't have even close to +1 carapace, is still on 2 gas with a limited amount of drones. He is dead if he doesn't kill him.
He was morphing Lair and it was probably done by the time FlaSh gg'd. FlaSh could not move out immediately and by the time he would be there, I am sure JD would have had Lurkers at his third and at his natural. It is not Do or Die. Yes you are behind, if you do not kill him, but it is not immediately over. Especially not in JDs position (killed many SCVs and had a lot of hydras remaining).
