You've got to lead with beast as oz, he's on great form and has a chance at back to back all kills. And even if he loses in the first match oz should be untouchable here.

I can't decide if PL is a good thing or bad thing for me. I love it, but having it run on my laptop while learning in the library is distracting. Also, with my hwaseung shirt and BW running in the background in the library I feel a little bit nerdy. But it's just too good. Also seeing OZ all-kill makes learning so much more fun!

Although they don’t really need much cheering since they are such huge favourites in this one. I feel bad for the little guys, I want to see a few games won by the all stars. Make it exciting.
What happened to Olympus? To my memory he was doing the best of any of the amateurs in the SRT action. I guess either he’s one of the Protoss’s I don’t recognize the name of or he couldn’t make it.

Olympus has been playing in some ama leagues. There's a lot of conditions to consider when picking players (first and foremost probably being their reliability and availability).
Sayle's favorite Zelot asked Sonic why he wasn't in the shortened SRT18, to which I vaguely remember Sonic replying "you play about the same as I do;;" but I can't find that and I'm really not sure. To this event Zelot merely stated "it'll be fun I guess ㅜㅜㅜ".

but initially it was 9pool vs 12pool, which is really hard for the 9pool player. He forced the zergling all-in from fake hero and then held it off, which is why he's still in this, rather than already being dead.

Learn could have won pretty convincingly if he had just pushed after killers first failed push, but since he kept pulling his entire army every time killer dropped or did anything to distract him, he didn't even get half way across the map... So frustrating to watch. Possibly he thought too highly of killer and therefore didn't dare being aggressive.

Killer was caught severely out of position. Shinee more or less just walked into third w/o contention. You are suppose to use Zergling/Mutalisks to grind down the bio. Lings were chiling at nat while mutas were nowhere to be found. He could have definitely held it off if he was granted more space control.

The rules don't say 'regame if there's ANY chance flash might come back' I get why you're upset, because you disagree with the rules they were playing by, but that's not an argument to say that JD didn't win, it's an argument for why you don't think the OSL should have the rules that they had. by the rules they had, JD won. (because by the rules, the referees make the decision, which they definitely 100% did).

I am pretty sure his nickname does not come from his ability to comeback from (very far) behind. So how does it matter?
I have seen at least 2 post on teamliquid who deeply analyse the game, and both come to the conclusion that the outcome was more like 95-5 (out of my ass) in favor of JD. There is no such post that states flash had a reasonable chance. And the reasons mentioned in these posts are solid. Now you can still argue that 95-5 (or whatever ratio that is not 100-0) is not a win, that's up for preference.
Anyhow, considering JD was ahead (even if flash had a 35% winchance) you can positively say that the tactic worked, even without knowing the actual outcome.
