Anybody at the higher ranks atm have an idea if this gets any better? Meaning, does the skill increase close to what it has been in PGT seasons of the past? Im 15-3 atm with t/p and its boring as shit hehe. If it gets alot better at the top i will get motivated but is it as dismal as it appears? Beginning of the season supposed to be more fun than this >_<

If you all good players say "theres no good ppl at the top" is cause the good koreans/non-foreigners say the same thing!... instead of saying "Im going to play this season" control, you just complain about the level... if the high skilled non-korean gamers starts playing again, probably it will lead to good koreans to play again...

Grumel: Did i say i wont find worthy players at top? I asked if there were any good players. Has nothing to do with "im so good they wont be as good as me" i just want gg's. And in PGT seasons past (as i already explained) early season is gg's. This season and last its been garbage, i was asking if that has changed or what.

insane- Me comming back from a 1 month break and losing to a guy after going 1 hatch lurker and drops on LT (i suck at drops) is not really anything to go off of.

Sorry for posing a question regarding the skill level of the top of PGT. I should have known most of the people who would respond to that question have no fucking idea.

Next time i will say "Hey Midian/Testie/idra..." when i ask a question as such i guess. Would be nice if i could just ask a open question and not have it assumed im being arrogant by Strato derailing what was a honest question. I dont consider myself "amazing" or "better than XXX" players, but i do know that noob bashing isnt fun. And i do consider myself at a level where i can "noob bash" call me arrogant if you want. But id like to avoid it, so i was asking a question as such.

It just sounds a bit strange to have doubts about pgtour top level, just because you start with a 15:3 record. Its no elo plain ladder. Early season rank can vary more based on luck / opponent picking then actual skill. Normal players are actually happy if they dont get bashed every game in the early season by the some crazy koreans. Yes you might have to bash some "newbies" , maybe 30 + of them in this unskilled massgamer friendly rating system, but there should still be some people for anyone on the top. Just dont get it how you can talk down pgtour level, just because you dont get bashed in the d/d+ ranks.

it wasn't a dumb question at all. last season the level of games was not worth playing through the lower levels to get to assuming you wished to play with mainly semi pro/high amateur. so far it doesnt look like this season is much better, although its still kinda early to really tell.
