Flash might play on La Mancha if it's needed!
hes talking about violet...
but apparently his chemo is going well but thats months old news.
In Milkis' twitter channel, it was posted that he's out of the hospital and will continue his recovery at home, and that he'll be back next season. Even if he was fit to play now, it doesn't make any sense to send him considering that he hasn't played for so long.
I was hoping for a Bogus Hoejja rematch -.- Drop behind the mineral line at 7 oclock, Stats forced to kill off a pylon Goons camping 1 oclock, Wraith is out on the field, 2 shuttles drop Reavers Wraith trying to get the shuttles, does not get them
My God, I was a little busy with a large battle on the other match, but Stat's shuttle micro was awesome Bogus sitting on 1-2 ups Click a toss unit obs >< 2 shuttles are out for Stats again Stats taking 2 oclock Vultures moving down to 9 oclock, lay a couple of mines and pull out Bogus is pushing out with his mech ball Stats trying to pick off the Vessel Soo many HT just sitting gout in the open for vultures to get Vessel goes down, but the arbiter is not there! Mines destroy everything of Stats, A few goons in Bogus' main, but other than that nothing One reaver being hero and gets 16 kills, Bogus is just pressing the main of Stats Gateways being shelled The nat is breached Stats trying to setup at 2 oclock, Bogus spots it, land shis CC Stasis, No scan though! Now theres the scan, Only a few units left in unstasis, but BOgus is reinfocing
Stats has 9 oclock taken; I don't think Bogus is aware, the main, and 2 oclock are destroyed, 7 oclock is getting breached I want to see supply counts right now o.o GG from Stats + Show Spoiler +
I still don't get why you send a P on Icarus. Never mind the actual getting destroyed by Bogus thing, what chance Stats beats Calm/Modesty or even hyvaa on such a Zerg map?
Sexy play from Bogus. I don't see KT winning this. Two of Action/Hoejja/Tempest/Barracks winning seems a bit unlikely, and even Flash's game isn't necessarily an auto-win for KT.
Yikes... I feel like progamers [edit: sometimes] don't consider the affect their early game has on the other player's preparations for mid-late game. In this case, Stats's play with shuttles made Bogus prepare extra early for the recall, which failed miserably.
There was another game recently (too tired to find it) where a zerg player (in zvp) faked really heavy aggression on Alternative, and instead of going for a hydra bust, double-expanded or something like that. Of course, the toss player had prepared to try and stop the bust with a bunch of units, rather than teching or expoing, so the toss was ready to roll over the zerg after he realized the Z wasn't going to attack.

KT probably thought STX would send Modesty for the ZvZ snipe and Modesty isn't really known for his ZvP (33% winrate).

It was ZerO against... Stork? I think it was against Stork but I can't remember.
Oh, you must be talking about a different game then because ZerO won handily with his fake.
I'm a tad disappointed in stats but I'm still optimistic of KT's chances. KT avoided getting one of its zergs sent out against bogus, they can easily help KT get to the ace match.

Barracks building his namesake further out then Classic, who opts to wall in his main with his + a supply dept. Two rines out for Barracks, only 1 for Classic but he is walled in. Barracks going for 2 fact, only one going down for Classic. Whoops missed it Classic actually 2 facting
Cloaked wraiths clear out the vulture left behind at 10.5, Classic resumes building SCVs there
Barracks with drop/ground attack on Classic's units midmap as Classic tries to clear the drop at 7.5 with wraiths 1 wraith vs 1 goliath left but the scan expired and the cloaked wraith won!
Barracks drops the Starports at 9 Yeah! He also takes inner 12 Wraiths pick off 2 dropships it looks like Wraiths intercept the rest of them Barrack's dropships Tanks just walking into 12.5 and taking it out, 12 oclock is going to come under fire, CC lifted
I recieve a text, and I see Classic's nat getting breached Yay me -.- Barracks breaching the nat I don't think Classic is mining anywhere else Small tank force midmap, gets dropped on, by Barracks GG from Classic
At the beginning of the season, with Flash, Violet, Stats, and the newly-recruited Action who had been in such great shape, I NEVER thought I'd be watching and depending on Hoejja and Barracks to bring home wins...
On July 09 2011 14:30 Ryo wrote: Exciting game, Barracks has improved a lot this season.
I was actually thinking the same thing during the game. Barracks has gone from "oh they are testing out their rookie" to a consistent PL player. Definitely respectable. Barracks fighting!
Flash vs Last. Last is the king of long drawn-out incredibly badly played TvT, so hopefully Flash just smashes him and we avoid that (and don't damage Flash's wrist any more).
Flash moving out with 2 tanks , they siege south of his plateau but last has 2 tanks nearby and 4/5 vultures which lay mines beside the tank (and destroy themselves in the explosion)
That drop might have done worse for Last. He might have shut down one expo, but he has essentially trapped his army there. Flash pretty much has the rest of the map to play with.
Last with a drop/attack on Flash's tanks overlooking 6 - he clears them out, but Flash now bringing in a huge mass of reinforcing tanks on the plateau, and now wraiths pick off most of the dropships and Last concedes
lol, that was one of the most satisfying endings to a game I can remember.
Yeah, it wasn't a huge comeback; Flash was clearly in the lead, but Last looking like he was trying to make a comeback himself, and then just being completely bitchslapped down to the ground.
Extremely satisfying to see that Flash didn't seem bothered at all by his lack of practise time, that was so dominant. On the other hand it was Last that he played against, but still.

Yeah, I was guessing either they play Flash in game 4 and give him 2 games to rest if they ever need him in Ace game or try their luck as much as possible without Flash.
On July 09 2011 14:50 Hinanawi wrote: Wait what happened
Flash sieged in front of vultures and I yelled NO FLASH NOOOOO and then the game jumped forward a minute.
Sorry this is so late. Flash brought another siege tank from the bridges to flank the attack on his other two tanks. Last lost his tanks unexpectedly to it and then a mine drag killed all his vultures. Flash basically traded 2 tanks for 2 tanks and 5 vultures.
Action vs Kal...I think Action is slightly favored in this match-up, unless Kal goes back up to his 2008 level of dominance again, which seems unlikely atm. =\

Thanks, I was so confused when it skipped forward and Flash looked fine.
Anyway, come on Action, let's win this and go home.
Dominating performance from KT. So proud of the team
As long as KT can keep its zergs away from terrans and get key contributions from barracks, CH and tempest it's quite possible that they can win it all.

Calm 12h Hoejja 9p
Nope. Barracks vs. Classic might be your thing if you like some dropship TvT
Stats vs Bogus I missed Lots of lings vs hatch first. Hoejja just 1a lings because Calm had...like...4 Classic/Barracks had a decent back and forth TvT, but you could tell from early on that Classic was doomed Last put up a good fight vs Flash but he's still a noobie and is learning. Action forced Kal to use up all his storms on mutas, and just steamrolled with infinity hydras.

Oz vs KT would've been so much more exciting.
I think most of us would agree with you. Oz would have been most competitive out of the three teams. I initially put my hopes on STX, but they'll probably continue to crumble tomorrow. Multiple losses against players who are not Flash or Stats should be a good indicator of continued failure..
It's not STX's fault that Oz pulled JD Oz one too many times this season. Better luck next year.
STX may or may not come back against KT tomorrow, but even if they don't they have earned their spot and deserve this shot more than Oz (this season at least).

I don't know where else to ask this: What kind of format is that? Why are KT/STX as well as KHAN/Stars playing each other 2 times in a row? Is that some kind of BO3 team system? Thanks a bunch!

its a BO3, game 2 of KT vs STX and Khan vs Stars is tomorrow.

Carry might be the wrong word here considering he's not even 50% in terms of winrate lol
Nonetheless though, hoejja and action have indeed stepped up. Funny how both KT and SKT zergs are doing relatively well now.

You're delusional.
Round 1: Hwaseung OZ 2 - 4 KT Rolster Round 2: Hwaseung OZ 4 - 2 KT Rolster Round 5: Hwaseung OZ 4 - 0 KT Rolster Round 6: Hwaseung OZ 4 - 1 KT Rolster
I also think that OZ vs KT would have been more exciting.
How can a team look so good on paper and suck so much in reality? Yes, I know STX's big guys are slumping, but this is the freaking playoffs. Kal, Calm, by.hero, Bogus, Shuttle, Classic, hyvaa, modesty... There are a lot of good players and snipers. Yet got 4-1ed by KT.
In hindsight, it does look like Oz vs KT would've been much better. At least the games that doesn't involve protosses can be fun to watch.

You can kind of dismiss the Calm/Hoejja game because Calm just got assraped by lings due to 12hatch.
However... I wouldn't call Classic and Last strong players on STX...Lastly, Kal just got mindfucked by Action with the mutas to waste all of his storms, and then a billion hydras.
Just STX playing their weaker lineup for half the night...I think putting Last against Flash was a good call, to save their stronger players to finish the match, but I think Shuttle should have gone out, he's consistently given Flash a good run for his money. KT did a good job sending Flash when they did, too, to put a ton of pressure on the people playing down the line to 3-0 KT.
STX has always been probably 2nd or 3rd place based on "paper skills" but never really pull through. The team is all inconsistent players and the team itself is very volatile (see their amazing finish in a few rounds at the beginning of the season, then last + this season..) so being an STX fan is kind of like watching a horror movie sometimes.

To be honest, Flash was on a 1/3 practice regimen last I heard, so one game wasn't going to kill him. And even with 1/3 practice and even if he was going easy on his wrist, he's still better than the 7th best player on KT (whoever that is), so it made sense to send him now that the stakes are high again. So to my view, he's not making a huge sacrifice by playing. That said, of course I respect him

People call it KTFlash as an accusation of KT only ever winning because of Flash or being unable to win even with Flash (Like when KT gets 1-4'd with Flash winning), not because Flash is the best player on the team.
