![]() the hardest part about casting with sayle is making sure you shut up and let him cast because he's so damn good at calling the game. its all about restraint. not sure how much i was holding in when bisu was breaking flash tho XD i was screaming like a little girl

Its an extremely risky build, and terrans have been getting away with it for too long now. Its time that siege/expo's and proper walloffs became standard again to prevent this kind of stuff I like how this is coming from Mr. I12nexEveryPvT ^_^

![]() This is what makes BW so awesome from a spectator's point of view. It's the constant evolution of strategies and little tweaks in build-orders which never fail to amaze. We all thought Flash pretty much reached the perfection of BW, and this game came to prove otherwise. Sure it's partly due to map, scouting luck and whatnots. But let's face it, Flash overcame maps and luck countless of times before. And to be able to both crush him, and make it look easy at the same time, you have to admit it's no simple task. I've been busy with work lately, and not been able to watch many BW games. But I'm so glad that I was able to catch this final. Long live Broodwar!

Still, have to give props to the SKT coaching team. Unbelievable preparation in every playoff match and in the finals especially.

After the last game...was that friggin Ogre Battle 64 music being played!? Starts at about 21 minutes on the last VoD. I know that level music is forever burned into my memory so...what the hell? It's a decent theme and all but lol

It's a decent theme and all but lol i don't know if it was from 64, definitely remember it from the first ogre battle. after flash lost i was like nooooooo but then ogre battle played and i was like lol i dunno if you could say bisu made it look easy. sci vessel got sniped for free, and bisu won the insane micro duel in the beginning to make the whole thing work from the beginning. he did play extremely well though.

What actually won Bisu the game was the chair bounce... That increases APM by synchronizing body motion with hand/finger motion... something like that.

Obviously it would be impossible to push into the nat up the ramp or up the big ramp, maybe he could have set up underneath the 11 o' clock base though. But overall why even push out, he needed to defend and expand to the right, try some dropship harass prehaps, and macro up to a massive push. Even with the obvious disadvantage he was at, waiting for a large push surely would have been better, we've seen his skill at moving out and just killing everything P has with one main push. Plus position wise it's actually not bad for going across, pushing up the large ramp and then moving for a contain on the lower ground main. I think if Bisu spawned at the bottom it would have been infact worse mid-game. Obviously though Flash's decision making is far superior to my own and his massive main talent, but i just don't see it here. He went into it knowing it's a nice P map and yet had no plan other than Rax CC (which is kinda risky already) and play normal? I think he looked a little 'off' against s2 as well to be honest, so i think even if he had won i reckon Fantasy would have beaten him. He's probably been playing TvT solely for ages just for it, and it was only 3-2 in their series. I think you say this like it's luck though, but going Rax CC at this point in the series 3-0 down and against Bisu is tempting fate. That wasn't luck he was going to do it like he usually does. I'm not sure the position was much better or worse really... it's harder to push down not sideways on Aztec. Flash could have gone a safe Fac CC, taken the right base with his typical great defense, do some harassment and maybe take the other 3 o' clock if he could hold it, then do a big push. The eco advantage gained does he really need to risk when he's this good at a matchup? Also why are people even talking about sniping here? (sorry just going back through the comments). If anything Bisu played safe and did the aggression as a response. What specific sniping was planned there? Now i see another comment that it's gimmicky. I must have forgot that P have to 12nex every game and allow a free expo with only one marine in a bunker. If Flash played Fac first then Bisu would NOT have followed up with the extra zealots obviously. Last edit i'm making to this but simply; Flash is the one who took the risk in the situation.

a) go ovie hunting before scouting with his sair, and b) stop sending scouting probes, leaving him with no information until hydras were already at the front door? Stats failing to scout s2 was KT's single biggest failing I think. Was there some other reason for him not scouting? Because what I see is a D level mistake that led Flash down to the world of Snipeland. That was pretty sneaky by s2 though. No scouting just begs for an all-in, and a 10 hydra + mass ling all-in was pretty low on the "Expected Builds" list. Lol at that fanboy blaming "everything wrong with the state of broodwar" for why s2 won that game though, hilarious.
