As the $1000 inches towards one of the 16 remaining players pockets, in preparation for April 2nd, 2011 at 20:30 CET, I think the sponsors are owed a huge recognition. That is, sYz-Adrenaline (Team AoV), Elegant[AoV], a1k1a4k1, Megashira[AoV], Akliz.net, Tenbagger (BTCsportsbet.com), KOS-Templar (The BGH), whom without, this would not be. In the distance, April 23rd lays. For now, these players stand eagerly from afar in the Round of 16 brackets:
Round of 16 Maps: Ro16 Best of 5: Empire of the Sun, Othello Losers picks from: Icarus, Fighting Spirit, Colosseum II, Destination
As the competition heats up and the players remaining become more polished and prepared, so does the tournament. So don't miss your chance to tune in, you won't want to miss a second. For any new viewers, you can check the prerequisite to the Round of 16 here.
Bracket I: Napoleon1:3Heme Heme advances to the Ro8, Napoleon is eliminated. Kolll3:1Ramms Kolll advances to the Ro8, Ramms is eliminated. Sziky3:0Bishop Sziky advances to the Ro8, Bishop is eliminated. Scan3:1SzajnA Scan advances to the Ro8, SzajnA is eliminated.
Bracket II: HejekW.OvAriOus Hejek advances to the Ro8, vAriOus is eliminated. DeSka3:1SouthPark DeSka advances to the Ro8, SouthPark is eliminated. Jumper3:2DragOn Jumper advances to the Ro8, DragOn is eliminated. Shauni1:3Ace Ace advances to the Ro8, Shauni is eliminated.
Napoleon > Heme Kolll > Ramms ( but Ramms is goooooood, could have been the final but i think ZvT is the best mu of Kolll ). Sziky > Bishop Scan > Szajna
Not too sure for the other side of the bracket :o Hejek > Various Deska > Southpark Jumper < Dragon ( no idea about those guys lol so i randomly picked one ). Shauni < Ace
imo you should cast one bracket on saturday and the other on sunday, remember theres a tvt in the mix furthermore when the cast overextend it ends up not being top notch as usual
They both play TvT, but honestly after watching Scans games in this league, I think Szajna will take it easily. It won't be entertaining games either. I do think though that Kolll vs Ramms will be great!
All games will be played on Saturday, but the casting will be split between Saturday/Sunday and between my stream and Elegant's stream. This will prevent the silliness that resulted from a 9+ hour cast during the Ro32.

We were clearly not looking at the same games of Scan. Scan have played very solid in this ISL. But Beamface showed some nice mech against Bishop, so I have big hopes on his TvT. I think it will be a good series.
In less than 24 hours, the Round of 16 will begin!!!!! Hella excited to see most of these matches, I'll probably cast the VODs to whatever wasn't streamed and not Spoiler myself this time. I'll definitely be tuning in especially because of the wagers. If anyone else is interested, we can go as low as $5 total but each match would have to be at least $1 ^_^
Please stop promoting. Scan or ("your" because I have no idea who you are) stream should not only not be promoted in this thread, but should not be allowed.
(Vote): Napoleon vs Heme (Vote): Kolll vs Ramms (Vote): Sziky vs Bishop (Vote): Scan vs Szajna (Vote): Hejek vs vAriOus (Vote): DeSka vs SouthPark (Vote): Jumper vs DragOn (Vote): Shauni vs Ace
Weird game to start it off. Terrible start by the zerg, then Ramms let him back in the game with a very sloppy slowpush towards his third, but in the end kollll just fell apart.

asdfhasdjkfdsahfkjlsdaf, i know right? i PMed the guy that closed it...to no avail. i stated my case with validity and mentioned that i pretty much copied Rekrul's format and operated just the way he did. the admin that closed my thread, just ignored me. so i dunno, i guess i could make another Betting Thread or Blog and see if i get banned?

It's usually not a good idea to just remake a closed thread, for whatever reason, I'd suggest trying to appeal to a different mod if the the one closing your thread just didnt react.
Given his history with TL and Starcraft, Rekrul can surely get away with way more than you could here, but I guess it could still serve as a starting argument.

No particular suggestion, but you can probably try to find random mods online in TL's IRC (see bottom left).

Yes, it's great to see a BW tourney drawing more and more attention. And this ongoing Heme vs Napoleon series is actually pretty great, I'm enjoying it way more than I did Koll vs Ramms.
Great series, ggs. I don't really know Heme, so maybe it's not that big an upset, but I'm surprised to see Napoleon out after he took out Yayba of all people.

ggs, thanks for the cast guys
Unfortunately, he has had hardly any time at all to play lately which is the last thing that you'd ever want going into a match vs a zerg as good and active as Ace.

Nothing slips by us, so assuming that it would is bad. Since the competition is getting much tighter and it's no longer "getting rid of the newbies" time, we are not updating the results until all VODs are casted.
RO8 will be REALLY interesting esp bracket 1..im not going to spoil the results but yall know what im talking aboutt
and I can definitely see Ace going to the finals from bracket 2( as soon as i saw ro32 brackets, it was Ace) bracket 1 is a tough one, but it has to be Scan

I will still be happy with that, cuz i know there will be some epic micro games between those two unlike other zvzs weve seen in ISL so far.

Napo vs Heme Wrong Koll vs Ramms Perfect score ! Sziky vs Bishop Perfect score ! Scan vs Szajna Right ! Deska vs Southpark Perfect score ! Jumper vs DragOn Wrong Shauni vs Ace Perfect score
VODs are in the process of being uploaded. I have updated the OP to include a VOD list so you can just find them there instead of searching through the youtube channel. I will keep updating that list as uploads finish. At the moment, Jumper vs Dragon is done and Kolll vs Ramms Games 1 and 2 are done.
Edit: Just a note. Since I was using Procaster/Livestream instead of Xsplit/Justin for the casts, the VOD quality will be lower than previous rounds. Hopefully Xsplit fixes their server issue before the weekend so we can be back to high quality for the Ro8.

All VODs except Deska vs Southpark are now up. You can see them in the OP spoiler-free. Deska vs Southpark will be uploaded by Elegant some time tonight.

I dont really know Scan, I'm generally surprised to see Sziky being the underdog in many eyes. Could you direct me towards some -preferably TvZ- games (VOD/replay) of his worth watching?
Koll seemed just as vulnerable against mech as he did around TSL2 (and his entire fast lair/fast hive play seems a bit gimmicky), so I can see an upset happening there. Sziky is no pushover, then there's a zvz, and I probably feel Ace's victory to be the most predictable, but I'm open for upsets. (my race against my country )
Very interesting matchups all in all, I'm looking forward to all the games to come, even if all-Z semis seem easily plausible

Fixed* also just curious how does Hejek get a walk over? LRM) power ? I didn't see any update and I've seen various online recently (wasn't he online @ the time of the supposedly scheduled game as well?
