Pretty excited about Hite entus since they have 2 of my favorites (Snow and Leta). Obviously their team has a lot depth from the merger too (snow movie skyhigh hydra + Leta Horang2 Hogil now)
WHyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Do you have individual spoilers for the recommended games!?!?!? i am so confused... it makes no sense.... One spoiler for all of them please!

does it really matters? they usually come with game summary, it would be a wall of text if everything were to bunch up

because ppl are gonna complain that i spoiled the the games that were played/notplayed
Should be a GREAT matchup! the new Hite/Cj team should be really fun to watch, especially with Leta in there! Also, great to see Snow in his second season!
Uh oh, the new bo7 format kinda screws over oz because now they need 2 random players + jaedong to win instead of just 1 to at leas bring it to ace where jaedong will win lololol

probably after the first week or round 2....
I'm torn between the 2 teams,I guess I have to just watch the matches.
Its not surprising considering how long it took for negotiations to complete as well as how fast this came upon us, considering how most of the community is now going to Starcraft 2 I'd agree w/ Blind about the wait time for fantasy PL and Liquibets
I'm so excited to see this new team. Losing Effort is big, but who knows maybe a new powerhouse zerg will emerge.Does anyone have any info on the new coach or is this is first time managing?
Lol A new logo will be interesting, but i hope they don't change their uniforms too much. I loved the shirts with white middle and black sleeves and those leather jackets. Simply badass.

this is what they wear now
What the heck? The old CJ uniform was BADASS.
This looks like some cheap low grade jacket that you picked out from a second hand store.
I'm moderately concerned. hite has Leta and a few decent protoss players, but do they even have any decent zergs? 'Cause I think Hydra is pretty mediocre
Predicting a Princess win is where I seriously scratched my head.
because honestly I do not know if Princess wins, but I am sure of is that if Movie lost against hOn_sin , why not Princess is better in ZvP than hOn_sin is worst in TvP.

It's thanks to the observers. I was just watching their mouse cursor on the minimap, and they show you everything. I never realized it, but they have some amazing observing skills. Makes the games seem so much more interesting and action packed.

He had a few opportunities to just doomdrop the main to finish things, but he never took it. Controlling the middle doesn't do much in a game where all the crucial expansions are on the edges of the map, attackable only via dropship. I think this game came down to a strategic error. Awesome to watch nonetheless.

exactly. he needed to either drop at 12 or drop at 5 after he raped letas army TWICE. but instead, he didnt do anything and let leta mine off 12 and 9 for the longest of times.
Couldn't leta take out both of hiya's expos during the first base trade? Hiya lost a lot of dropships going into the natural, so i think leta could have pincered the the 12ish base of hiya with minimal losses.
Great TvT overall and a good job by leta getting a win in his debut.
nono the kespa ref said that something about the sound system on killer's side of comp stopped working, they fixed the problem now and now will resume the match since it was only the beginning.

Killer had like one base saturated with drones and his tech was pretty nonexistent while Skyhigh had irradiate and tanks. If he wanted to drone up skyhigh with production buildings would just run him over anyway so it was over.

no... the lurkers were focused on the d-matrixed marine but killer just targeted the other marines
you can see that the d-matrixed marine was sent in first
Khan and Oz both have weak lineups with one really good player and STX and Hentus have some of the deepest lineups. Maybe could have went 2-4 but the results aren't too surprising.
lol i was checking TL on my phone and saw rever vs dt.. then was thinkin maybe oz would not suffer the fate of JaedongOz but turns out they did anyway rofl
Unless Lomo, Hiya, and Backho step it up and Oz gets some decent players, I don't think they're going to do well at all. Maybe if they had super ace...
I can't believe the curse of Hite Sparkyz against Jaedong has ended.
No longer will Hite Sparkyz be tormented by the single entity known as Lee Jae Dong. With CJ by their side, they can no longer suffer a crushing 4-0 blow by the hands of Jaedong.
On October 17 2010 16:01 Noxide wrote: What did we decide to call Hite Entus anyway? They aren't really CJ or Hite anymore.
I still call them CJ. CJ's heritage is invaluable while Hite is a beer brand.
It's not CJ without Cho.

I actually think Coach Cho at the helm would contribute more to Hite Entus' deadliness than a single player, especially in a Bo7 format where a single player is less capable of carrying a team.

until Winner's League
The two rounds of Winner's League seems to about all Oz has going for them

I honestly think Cho was getting too carried away with how good he was at player sniping and map selection, to the point where his players weren't really good at multiple match-ups at the same time.
Everyone on CJ was just so one-dimensional at the end of last season. They lost their excitement for me so I switched to SKT fandom.

You know, I think that this is quite true. A pretty good example is Snow. We all know he's good at all matchups, considering the fact that he was dream league bonjwa and that he's played rather well as a #2 recently. But all we saw of him was a PvT sniper when he came to snipe Flash. That was probably Cho's doing. Effort was the only one who really looked good at all 3 matchups, and even he had moments of highly questionable play. Also, what Kwanro said about the CJ/WJN/SKT coaching is worth considering.
IMO his parents dealt with the FA situation very poorly last year. Instead of asking for more money, they shld have settled for less then perhaps teams like SKT might have considered signing him. But the financial situation of teams was so bad last season noone was willing to offer him what his Oz contract was worth.
Overall a very bad loss but I think Hite Entus has one of the strongest lineups so maybe there's still a chance for Oz this season if Hiya starts pulling his weight.
man Oz lineup looks sooo bad if u think about it. they didnt do well in last season with the bo5. But this season its a bo7 all the other teams got some decent players (besides mbc) to their roster but Oz. I bet Sc2 isnt looking too bad for Jd right now. If theres no Msl this season too oh I would get really frustrated... My bet this season Oz get the last place ....
Waiting for the winner interview though in the mean time tried google translate and it is of course unreadable. Here is Horang2's interview anyways which is laughable.
Scalar height since I was a kids spa peurotoseujeon as much as a player was outstanding. Q Did you expect this exhibit. A need to validate your skills, so you think you'll have the opportunity to play. Evaluation of a real studio rather than a practice, I guess.
Q They did the Dark Templars Board. A first I did not. Probes 3-4 were arrested, I thought GB was talking a bunch of Dark Templar everything to avoid a probe to gather resources in the fear I left him. Instead, more drama group went on to take the first observer was just joining the troop.

Q One last word. A team helped out so hard, did you write a lot of nerve kochingseutaep. Thanks. Thank you for giving the opportunity is playing the director. And the man who raised me, so far yimyeonggeun would like to thank the director, exercise.
Snow was rookie last season, but this time he is setting ambitious goal of 50 wins 80% win rate, which he laughs at. Leta talks about improving due to new teammates to practice with and the merger covering their weakness. Skyhigh wants to do things other than TvT since he is better or wants to get better at the other match ups and also says he is seeing different play styles.
I think it's less of Hwaseung failing in predictable fashion, I think it's more about Hite + CJ's lineup looking scarier than before. Even without Effort in the team, it seems better that Leta's in it.
I have loved Lecaf-Hwaseung for a long time. A very long time. I loved how Anytime raped back then, when sending JD for ace was an upset. The Anytime - Jaedong - fOrGG - HiyA lineup was totally badass, even though their 2v2 team sucked balls (except when BackHo raped some team 1v2. Who remembers that game???). Look what Hwaseung has become now. Seriously, they should disband, and let JD get to a team where he doesn't have to carry more than his load. So sad...

As planned, Hite demolishes everything, and as planned, Oz sucks ass.

I agree with this, Hiya played well and Backho was decent, they were just both up against better players.
I mean, I still don't think Oz will make the playoffs, but I think they're better than people give them credit for.

Yeah. I have mad respect for the guy. I wonder if he's getting burned out, being the backbone entire body of the team.
He'd be so much better off on SKT We could actually put his Zerg game to good use...
As awesome as JD on SKT would be (holy balls awesome, to be precise), proleague would skew way too heavily towards KT and SKT roflstomping practically everyone.
One way or another, though, Oz needs to focus on something other than pimping Jaedong. Maybe the rest of his team has KT's 'practiced with Flash' syndrome. Apparently on Oldboy they joked that anybody that practiced with Flash slumped really hard afterwards because of the ownage they received.

I can't wait to see what those two cook up. Also, Horang2 is probably gonna help Movie and Snow with the PvP. Movie has a great PvZ since before, and Snows PvT is great as well. Looking forward to the games these guys will play.
Still can't believe 4-1. EDIT: Just saw the Horang2 vs Sky PvP. Beastly play by Horang2. He didn't even bother with the DT because he knew he had it in the bag

Actually, horang2 wasn't even aware a DT was killing his probes until he lost like 20 of them
The observer was just chilling above the robotics facility for like 3 minutes
The first observer left his base and went straight to where his army was. It was his second observer that stayed in his base along with that one dragoon that was microing against the dt.
when I looked up Oz vs hite, the only one that Oz lost was in an STX masters match where Jaedong didn't even play. This is unprecedented. Also, Jaedong has never lost a game against hite.
I think the new format will be especially painful for Jaedong Oz. It's not like JD will lose, but there aren't enough other players who can win games consistently...

Ok i watched the VOD... and the observer started to head towards sky's base after the DT killed 11 probes... Also note the observer came out just as the DT reached horang2's main.

You must have high exceptions of Oz to find a 4-1 result shocking. Yes, Jaedong (I guess Oz too?) has never lost to Hite and if they got to the ace match, he would have brutalized Leta or Snow or whoever.
But Oz isn't going to be able to give Jaedong the chance to carry the team home. Jaedong isn't a certain win, Hiya is has around a 50/50 chance of winning, and the rest of Oz can be expected to lose badly. Getting 3/4 wins is near impossible with the lineup they have.
There's a reason why they kept losing to Airforce ACE in normal Proleague and Winner's League all of last year. It wasn't luck, the vast majority of Oz are literally as bad, or in some cases far worse, than the best players on ACE.
