And now they both get raped by almost the exact same style end game. Though sea and light got there differently, the game was basically decided on the acquisition of a single base. lol @ foresight. Funniest part is if Jaedong had played half as well in the late game as Zero had, he would have won.

I think it was after he just devoured sea's first push with lurkers and he saw the 5-6 vultures moving out to the middle of the map. After that his rhythm of play completely changed and it seemed like he lost the control and feel for the game after that. But man, I cant say the same thing about effort, I think he played pretty well all game long, but the switch to guardian was....

At least for Sea vs JD their games go back pretty far and one of them(where Sea won with bio/vessel) was maybe the biggest game of tvz that was ever played. And light always beats every z no matter what he goes for(at least for the past maybe 8 month or so)

Haven't you all realized yet? its the MAPS, NOT the RACES. Why else would there be such racial swings every few seasons? Why was there a time where the only moderately competent Terran was Flash, and he wasn't even doing very well at all? Mech is imba only when the MAP allows it. Get a map where more surrounds are possible, and terrans are screwed. Get a map with some damn good chokes, zergs are screwed. Haven't people noticed that the maps these days are heavy with chokes and ramps? Open ground maps are rare, but they're the maps that toss / zerg are strong at. in other news YEAH YUMMM BOOOO SUUNGG GOGOGO WIN THIS MSL User was warned for this post edit: edited out all the swearing, sorry guys. was just annoyed at all the imba talk and overreacted.

Yes, Zerg have been powerful fairly recently, but Terran's natural advantage over them counteracted it somewhat. While Terran are riding high, the complete lack of any decent protoss presence to counter-balance it somewhat makes it just that much more severe regardless of maps.

At that stage, they HAVE TO win, and they HAVE TO do anything to achieve it. Now I don't give a shit about Swarm Season, I don't give a shit about the bio mech transition that is "tearing apart the fabric of Starcraft". It's just you Zerg sympathizers and Terran haters have problem with your attitude. People like you are so fucking used to see Zerg rampaging through leagues that you start to take it for granted. Now there's no Protoss for you to hydra bust, to 3-0, only Terran players who have already acknowledged themselves being the underdogs and more inexperienced, so they practise more vigorously in order to minimize the gap. Fucking face it: They're just trying to do their job, while you sit here, you watch the stream, you trashtalk in the channel and enjoy the luxury of not having to endure the freaking stress those players out there have to; yet you call their [best performance they COULD offer] "gay" and by the most derogatory terms possible. I see nobody "gay" but you people. And map imbalance? Give us a freaking break. This PR, that Odd-Eye, every map that could be used to describe a Zerg graveyard? When a Terran wins this way it takes a freaking long time, followed by persistent endurance and a string of correct decisions. We are not hating the player who plays to win, we are hating the race.

Can we please wait till all the series actually conclude before you make horrible over-generalizations? In my opinion, if the Terran has absolute control over the late mechanic strategy, then the Zerg cannot win. If a Terran has really great command over this strategy, there is no way Zerg can win in an average map. Tell that to Sea. ![]()

there was a rep in the leaked progamer replays, where Hoejja actually used many queens and beat flash turtling with mech in a 40++ min rep
