Hey all,
UC Berkeley's Asian American Association is hosting the 6th semesterly Lan B4 Time, a Starcraft and Smash tournament. In the past, the tournament has seen participation from legends like Yosh, Superiorwolf, the UC Berkeley Starcraft DeCal (class), the Berkeley CSL team, and a bunch of people from TL  The tournament is free to enter, and this semester, it will be happening on a Saturday instead of a Friday, so there isn't any excuse to not make it!
When: 4/3/2010 (Saturday) 4pm-10pm (registration starts at 4, tourney starts at 5)
Where: UC Berkeley Dwinelle Hall 2nd Floor
Who: You + TL + Berkeley CSL team + ex-SC-class students
Cost: *FREE* (but Bring Your Own Computer/Laptop + Mouse + Keyboard)

Format: BO1 Double Elimination, with BO3 for winner's semifinals, loser's semifinals, and the grand finals.
Map Pool / Map-choosing format:
Maps will be chosen by each player voting down one map, alternating, and repeating until there is only one map left. The map left over will be the one played.

Transportation:
The easiest way to get there is by using BART. Get to your closest BART station (BART parking is free on weekends i believe), and take it to Downtown Berkeley. The University is just a block away from the station. Here is the map to get to Dwinelle Hall:

Anyone know if Yosh is still around Berkeley? I haven't seen him since we were on the same CS team!

He's still around Berkeley and lives in San Mateo and last year went to many SC LANs. Not sure if he'll come since he decided to quit SC after TSL, but I'll ask and it's on a weekend so he won't be working.
Also, I'm down for a TL lunch (maybe dinner instead though, since this year the LAN is starting 3 hours earlier)

Ya I really liked the TL dinners in our BATLL LANs - anyone else for it? We'll have to try and coordinate a time between the tournament or do it afterwards which might be pretty late, I'll ask people to see if we can have a break in between the tournament or something.

Glad that it's starting earlier this year! Not sure if i'll come though, because senior year means partying > SC, but if i do come, i'll definitely play.

Yea, we can definitely coordinate something for a dinner (even if that means it'll be a late dinner).
